Im getting mine midnight Tuesday, lining up with the other geeks/nerds/gamers at Gamestop on Tuesday haha.

I just pray its closer to MW2 rather than World at War. Had a 69 :-D game winning streak, and had a pretty good K/D ratio on MW2 ..but I hated World at War and put down that game few days into it.

Lol so a few days ago someone stole a pc dvd for mw3 and released it on the internet. Apparently it's only disc 2 though....so they have half the game (so basically it's a quarter of most other games bwwhahah sorry.)

So far I love the story. I haven't play online until I complete story. Until now Im going though the small book that come with the hard edition.

my friend told me it play smooth on the ps3 just like cod4. can't wait to play online.

Played 8 games ... mostly team death match and kill confirmed

went 5 wins 3 losses with a 76 kill to 91 death ratio

mostly better than others who started...im off to a good start ...today was lag free and totally enjoying using my three round burst M16 (my favorite assault rifle in MW2)

still flying solo though...need people to game with...im trying my hardest to pull people from battlefield haha...

Jawbs and I have been playing the campaign next to each other on the couch (me on my little TV I use for shower shows on regular difficulty, and him on our big screen on Veteran.) It actually makes us keep the same pace, as I think I die as often on regular as he does on Vet. :lol: I have no idea how far through we are, since they count the intel you find as part of the % of completion, and I SUCK at finding extras since I'm concentrating so much on not dying.

So... I just finished the level with the crazy dark sandstorm. Any idea how many more missions are left?

Also, I really dig the survival game in the Special Ops. I'm enjoying the game so far, but haven't gotten into online multiplayer yet. Has anyone played Capture the Flag? I'm really hoping it is modeled like MW2 and not Black Ops. They changed the mechanic of the game in BO and ruined it, in my opinion. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and can confirm if it's like MW2?

You're on mission 9 of about 16, but with missions getting harder as you go along they get longer so you're just about under half way through in length of gameplay. Not done CTF I'm afraid

Capture the flag is just like how it was in MW2.

I've never been good at FPS. Then again I've never really had anyone to play with. My Hubby does sometimes, but he just gets frustrated with me, I feel like a dumb shit and we give up LOL.

The game is great. But I just see a batch of campers now. If you just starting online I would use UMP gun as a start off.
I love the little tank my friend was using that tank was protecting. Gun I was using was a Type 95 (FAMAS) It is a three-round burst weapon. Three to five shot will take a person down and you have enough ammo.

In deathmatches we've found it a bit difficult to camp, however, the more we learn the boards the better spaces we're finding. Don't knock camping.

I got it at best buy at midnight when it came out, I like the game but the campers are freakin redic (If you camp, Bend over cuz I am spanking you!). Also has anyone else noticed that you can put like twelve rounds into somebody and not freakin kill them? But they put one in you and you're done. Like I said tho, I like it and all but I expected more.

I'm bent over, waiting for my spankings. :-D Seriously, I feel when playing deathmatches the point is to win the match, right? Well, I find it better when trying to win to go 6-2 when camping rather than 2-6 while running around. I'd rather camp and win the match than run around and lose. Your second point is my main argument. I have run around before, sometimes to get back to where I was camped, I'll shoot someone almost an entire clip and they don't die. Instead they shoot me twice and I die. That's the biggest complaint I've had about this game (any variation).

Anyway, campers should be a sitting target for those that don't camp. You know where we are! Throw a grenade and kill us, sneak up behind us, just don't keep running in the same way 5 times in a row because I've killed you the other 4.
