I figured it out guys....the problem was in my Personal Options - Chat (needed to uncheck the "ignore chat images"). I must have hit it by accident or something while trying to figure this ish out! LOL I've read a lot of good advice here so I'll definitely be sticking around and participating where I can and may be helpful with simple issues like these
