Hello! I'm Jesse, Jay, Geminiguy, UTairhead, and probably lots of other names. I just found this forum today and wish I would have found it before I ever started hanging out in this domain. I'm not new to porn but I am relatively new to camming and online platforms. I came here mostly seeking sexual gratification and equally, maybe even more important, friendships or at least aquaintances outside of my small circle of family and friends. I needed a place to escape from a life turned upside-down. Checking in to a psych hospital was not an option since I've done the breakdown/rehab thing and know that for me it would be another short term break from life's chain of beatdowns . Plus my soon to be ex-wife is a Psych RN at one of three places I'd end up. So, I chose this domain. Oh, besides the pending divorce, I lost my career job (Feb 2020), lost my 26 year old son to an OD (Apr 2020), along with COVID shutdowns, social unrest, election madness, etc. Anyway, I landed here in the world of camming (female models for me), cam sites and people that run them, content sites and their crew, and customers. I'm not one to follow the crowd so I've tried going it alone with mixed results. I have a good heart and mean well but I'm a bit hard headed and stubborn. after spending lots of money, meeting a few people I can call friends, having fun, not having fun, ruffling feathers, getting my feathers ruffled, I stumbled upon Amber's site. Amber, I admit that I've seen your cam vids and noticed that you had taken on the role of a leader in the community. I don't know much about that but if this is any indication I'll assume that it's for the good of sex worker. If so, I applaud you for that. I really truly down deep care about the models and have given my last dollar and supported as many people as this unemployed guy can. I'm not saying I'm an angel or applying for sainthood. I'm just strongly opposed to rude, crude, presumptive, entitled, non-consentual behavior. A potful of tokens is not a license to treat or mistreat anyone, especially the host. I also think there's a significant need for better sex worker compensation. I mean beyond tips which to me is a misnomer because tips are by given voluntarily in suggested amounts for good service. I'll ask about that later but in this one customer's opinion would like to see it referred to as "cost" for services and content. Tips should also be encouraged in addition. Calling everything a tip makes it sound negotiable. Anyway, I mainly hope to learn from this forum and contribute if I can. I'd like to help strengthen the ties between the sex workers and the customers (or fans, followers, etc.). Even if it just means me becoming a better customer. I'm open to any and all sincere criticism. I've tried pretty much every other forum and platform. Again, I wish I found this one first because I can see from a brief review of topiccs and responses that it covers a lot that should be in a primer and well beyond (one guy said I needed a "Camming for Dummies"). This appears to be an awesome resource and I'm encouraged to see the section for models helping models. I'm a practical no-nonsense type of person, not fueled by greed or malign, and have no sympathy for scammers, thieves, or bullies. As such, I place a high value on privacy, and am well aware of the dangers poised around every corner and deep in the shadows we all navigate though when we're online. It's hard enough, especially in today's crazy new world, for a lot of people to just find enough income to have a roof over their heads or basic needs to survive. I know this because i've lived it, and recently felt the wrath of such an individual. It's truly shocking when one person can turn someone's life upside down and simply toss them in the gutter.
Blah. Sorry if this got a little long-winded or comes across in any unfavorable way. I didn't want to beat around the bush because i'll probably be asking a lot of questions on the forums so i believe it's better to be up-front and direct. We're all in the same boat. Times have changed and times are tough. If i can help even just one person overcome their hold up, ultimately allowing them to become successful and happy, i'd consider that a victory. I'd probably even start sleeping a little better at night. Maybe that's my fetish, ya know, seeing people happy!
BTW, I *ahem* allegedly have some stuff (butt stuff) posted online, and am interested in (butt stuff) camming a bit, but i'm pretty dadgum shy so it hasn't lasted very long if i do go live! I'm sure some day i'll over come that.
