A. This is not a concern about models or other members screen capping your member cam (if you allow others members to see your cam). That very well could happen and people should at least understand that this can easily happen

B. I know that MFC says that it DOES NOT record member cams but really I have a doubt here.

C. Can people hack into MFC and get their hands on recorded member cam footage (if it is being recorded --- which MFC DENIES they do but still)? I know they would rather record the models but are members in danger as well

Your logic holds several leaps of faith.

1. Members DO NOT have to allow their cams to be seen by other members. You can only allow models to view your cam, or only allow people on your friend's list to view your cam. Anyone who allows their cam to be seen by other members intentionally does this. And you acknowledge this.

So...

IF MFC lies about recording your cam (which, remember, they literally have no reason to)
IF you allow other members to view your cam
IF MFC for some reason keeps a recording of you
and IF someone hacks MFC for the sole purpose of finding recordings of member's webcams
and IF they find out who you are
and IF they find a way to blackmail you
and IF you have anything to lose
and IF the person decides to blackmail you

then you may be blackmailed.

This seems like a very convoluted chain of events that seems very unlikely to happen. There are about six jumps of logic there resulting in an extremely (extremely as in, 'no, it won't happen') probability of a member being blackmailed from getting on an MFC webcam.

I think it primarily depends on the model's actual preference for C2C. Some models find that a member's cam during skype shows feels "suffocating" and uncomfortable. And how many guys might not even care if those pics got out?
Sounds like it'd be too much work, and maybe even a wild goose chase. There are far more lucrative options available to fraudsters than extorting MFC members.
So yeah, it's possible, but seems even less likely than winning those multi-millions in the lottery.

I'm with you, but I don't see why MFC would need to regulate what members are doing. Even if a member is snorting coke off a dead hooker, MFC is not liable for what he does and if someone said, "I heard a member was doing something illegal while his webcam was turned on," I imagine MFC's response would be, "super, have a nice day." Because what members do on cam is of absolutely zero importance to MFC and they are in no way responsible for what members do.

Also, I was under the impression that all credit card billing went through a third party company (Epoch or CCbill). Absolutely none of my real information is attached to my premium account, and MFC has no way of tying my real identity to my MFC account. If my credit card information is stashed somewhere in MFC's servers, how could that be used to blackmail me? "Your employee spent $80 bucks on porn, you should fire him" doesn't sound like a solid plan to me.
