I know im responding to this a month later... but.... teehee. ;)

Still would like to know the nature of your source--maybe someone in the FBI or friend of....? Since Comey's oh-so-helpful and conveniently-timed letter to Congress last Friday, this has become conventional wisdom in the MSM--i.e., that there is a cadre of "rogue" agents in the FBI who've decided that the Clinton investigations haven't been pressed hard enough, and therefore they've taken it upon themselves to leak to sympathetic media. I don't know what's worse: Comey's self-serving letter or the fact that he's apparently not in control of his own organization.

Has anyone watched the Weiner documentary? It's supposed to be good, but I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it. Just don't want to get immersed in the life and decline of a world-class narcissist and pervert. Before all this happened, he was an effective politician and attack-dog for the democrats.

Plus, there's the nexus to current political events, and I definitely don't want to get any more immersed in that.

This is probably the most telling picture of this election cycle. When the elites realize time is up.
View attachment 66628

What happens when the current elites' time is up? It's clear from history, literature and the behavioral sciences that there will always be an "elite" class. If there's a populist revolution, I suppose it's conceivable that the current elites could be purged or sent to re-education camps, but it's all but certain that over time they would be replaced with new elites chosen or tolerated by the new regime. Like the current elites, they would eventually become oblivious to the concerns of "the 99%". The only type of society with potentially no elites would be true socialism/communism (which I think is not realistically possible), or some type of anarchy (if that can even be called a society).

I think it's more realistic (and desirable) for the current elites to start refocusing their attention and policies on the needs of the vast majority of this country's people--those who have to work for a living but find that their financial position is being systematically undermined by policies meant to benefit the 1%. I see signs that this refocusing is already happening, but it's not coming (yet) from the Republican establishment or, to be honest, from the Democratic establishment. And this refocusing is not motivated by wanting to do the right thing; it's mostly fear of a destabilized society and economy. Hopefully, the establishment parties will come around soon, without too much more political agitation and instability. As horrifying as the possibility of a Trump presidency may be, I think his role as a major party nominee, and the type of campaign he has run, have definitely gotten the attention of the current elites.

Not all elites are the same, my friend.
We used to have aristocracies based on merit, honor, and high values (noblesse oblige). But democracy destroyed that system. What we have now is a plutocracy by proxy, a perpetual popularity contest where only the most sleazy and psychopathic characters rise to the top and are simply puppets for the mano negra of the highest bidder. The current globalist elite championed by the democreeps, which is who I am talking about here, is destroying the nation-state, it's doing it in all of the West, and it has to stop.

Omg is anybody else watching the Beyonce' JayZ Clinton concert?

shit is tight

In a capitalistic system anyone can go to the top. If they lack smarts, persistence, talent , ideas, self esteem and useful habits - they blame the 1% or 2% or 25%. Lol this is as old as humanity.

Went out for a walk ( big USA city) and the energy all around on the streets is just bizarre. Can't explain...people go about their stuff as usual but sort of in a trance not paying attention to other people in their own thoughts preoccupied amd dazed and the feeling is...something is about to happen. Can't put my finger on it- what this energy means.
But is almost like the country is about to break into one big smile which makes me predict trump will win because the feeling is this completely new energy is about to take over and Hillary would be continuation of previous stuff. I don't know this is weird feeling and it could be unrelated ( Friday night) but definitely did not notice this before.
If trump wins he better keep his promises or a lot of people will be hurt. Despite many admitting their dislike for trump got a feeling that many many more are actually voting for him because of the things he promised among them that disaster healthcare program has to go and the danger Europe is in due to lack of care from anyone - ppl don't want it happening here too. So this election is sort of really freaking a lot of ppl out and they walking on streets dazed because is seriously only couple of days now and future of this country is on a thread.
anyway the energy is electric!

i can but have a feeling if i have to explain this that is all over the news it will not be understood sorry i tought it was so obvious...i just...can't...

I can guarantee you that Trump will not keep his promises. You saw it with his promise about showing his tax returns.

We're talking about Trump, right? Cause that's Trump all the way!

And noblesse oblige? Give a break. That fairy tail propaganda deserved the guillotine.

I'll take "open border suicide" for 200, Alex.
Don't be mad at immigrants and refugees dear. Just try and think of them as modern day conquistadors, see if that helps you deal with it. Who knows, maybe they will teach you a new language you can butcher.

Can you explain this a little more ?

Here's the best overview I've seen yet of what's been going on in Europe (skip to 3:11 if you find the opening slow):

Make no mistake: This is exactly what the globalists and "progressivists" want for America, too, and this election represents more of a decision point in terms of your country's future than I think the average American realizes.

Donald Trump will be a highly imperfect president, but at least he has demonstrated the willingness and courage to speak out against this open-border madness. The alternative outcome is too grim even to consider.

Apples and oranges.

And what alternative outcome are you speaking of?

Tell me, Simon. Spell it out.

Just so we can skip some tedious back-and-forth here: The punchline is @Protocosmo calling me a "racist" and an "Islamophobe", and branding me "literal Hitler".

I am all these things and much more. Doesn't matter, and I no longer care about your kind's petty insults. If you want to see the "alternative outcome" Americans are contemplating right now, check out the video I posted.

You scared, bro?

That video is the result of blowback. If you don't want mass migration thanks to war, then don't spend 100 years destabilizing and encouraging war in other countries.

The good thing about trump is that he has the willingness and the courage to speak out against whatever irks you. And if that isn't good enough, just wait a few minutes and he will boldly speak out against the position he previously held.

Bait and switch. Trust trump only with what you are willing to lose.

Well, you sure told me. You do understand that things work differently in the US than in Europe? We take in lots of refugees all the time. Southeast Asia, Somalia, etc... Sure, there can be problems but you have to consider the circumstances surrounding the crisis in Europe are fundamentally different from anything the US might need to handle.

Boom. Reagan's foreign policy took advantage of and exacerbated tensions in the Middle East, the results of which we still have to deal with today. Ironically, those who back Trump, would likely have backed Reagan too.

There is an ocean...the army did not make it here yet...is closer to Europe...but if they do make it this is gonna be your neighborhood

Tell you what. The neighborhood next to mine is known as "Little Somalia" on the account of a large number of Somali refugees settling there. The impact? Lots of new small businesses. The horror.
