I have a few regulars that I do Skype shows with and it can be really useful as a source of income when I can't stream live on cam (e.g. travelling somewhere where the internet speed good enough for skype, but will result in no-one entering my room on cam). Also because you get 100% of your profits and instantly.
Where do models advertise your Skype services? Or members, where would you go to look for a model to Skype?
Feels very restricted as I obviously can't advertise on cam, Instagram won't allow it, and I don't really have a big following anywhere else! Would anyone recommend Skyprivate or something similar? Seems like you have to set your prices wayyy down low and you don't even get 100%
Whenever you broadcast on whatever cam site/s you broadcast from, if somebody asks you the "do you do Skype/are you on Skype question/s," just say "I can't discuss that while here but to answer your question, yes." Don't give anymore info. than that, but with that being said, don't rely on somebody to search for you on Skype. I've discovered if a person wants to spend time with you on Skype, they will search for you, and will send you an invite. It took me a good 2 months before I received Skype invites, but I do porn so people who I do Skype shows with just looked up my porn name, discovered I have a Skype, and sent me invites. If you don't do porn that's okay, just be patient, and if I find any way you and/or any other cam model on ACF or not can make a connection without getting in trouble now, and moving forward, I will let you and everybody else know how to do so. Use your name Sashacurves, and see who invites you, but careful with who you accept, since there are, sigh, unfortunately, a lot of haters out there.
If you go the Skype route, I recommend using a payment method you normally don't use to receive payments, and have the payments transferred to whatever account you do use regularly, if that makes sense. That's what I do, but you have to do what works for you.
If the guest keeps asking questions, just simply say "I can't provide more info. because if I do, I'll get in trouble, and you don't want me to get in trouble while online, do you baby?" That has been my go-to response every time. If they care about you, they will respect you/that. If not, just politely decline their offer, and/or if they're abusive towards you with their responses, ban them and report them to support ASAP, so no other cam model has to deal with their drama/BS. True, I've been off the cam sites for awhile, only because I make money offline and doing Skype shows, but when I get online on the cam sites, that will be my response every time, and I hope this benefits you and other webcam models. If support on whatever cam site you work on says this is not beneficial to you, and/or to anybody, just disregard everything I just typed in this thread.
1st of all, I'm glad you're successful offline and online, because not everybody can do this, so good for you. 2nd, be careful regarding Skype shows since identity theft is unfortunately on the rise. See link below. Also keep this in mind. Skype frowns upon adult entertainment stuff, so be careful, because somebody could do a show with you, and suddenly say "I never authorized that/this transaction," and then you don't receive any money, so be careful.
In conclusion, I hope this is helpful, not too long, and if for some strange reason this put you to sleep, I hope this gave you a good nap/sleep, and/or anybody else who reads this thread. Don't worry, not getting too attached, but the webcam world has helped me in so many ways that are too long to mention here, so I hope this helps you and/or any other model out there.
