When skype goes away

Are we allowed to sell our discord for tokens instead? It's going away in May, and I've always sold my skype for tokens on mfc, as well as offering true privates etc through the site. I wondered if anyone knows what models are allowed to offer instead?

ETA; If no one knows, I'll write and ask support myself and update this thread in a few days with an answer.

MFC has never been concerned about models sharing other means of interaction, so Discord should be zero problem. Just like selling our snapchat for tokens essentially. It isn't a competitor site to MFC.

Back when I tried skyprivate I was very underwhelmed, and unimpressed. As far as I know they are a service that takes money off the top of another service such as skype. A lot of those services are not very good. There is one that even withholds money from models and fines them over minor things. It's bad. And they expect you to bring all your customers there, and go through them for any and all payments, and scheduling of sessions. Absolutely not. No way.

Gross. So exploitive. The rep for SP basically told everyone to go to Teams but the TOS for Teams says OH HELLNO BB YOU'VE LOST YOUR MIND. So I really have no idea.

Yes, you would think all of this would be simpler. It gets so confusing with layers of different organizations etc Or maybe I just have a case of the Mondays, thanks for trying to help though Between this and trying to get a collab form signed on docusign I feel like my head is full of spaghetti rn. Lol nothing's ever simple I guess.

ETA; sidenote docusign won't let people from some countries make accounts, so you have to jump through about 50 hoops just to get a willing co performer, who's willing and ready to sign, to be able to sign. And I read some of the clipsites only take docusigned forms They (docusign) literally ask for a phone number to make an account, but then they don't use it for anything.

You're welcome, hopefully someone will see this and chime in. I've also been solo so I have no idea how any of that stuff works on other sites. Fascinating that you can't sign up from certain countries though. That doesn't benefit anyone.

I'm no expert, but as far as my experience and where I've asked around discord, and telegram are. Skype always had a shitty feed, and I've heard discord has a much better feed/ quality anyway.

I've never understood why so many guys prefer Skype, the feed is so pixelated and unclear. You can barely see anything, compared to how other streams go elsewhere, visually.

I'm neither fond of discord nor telegram for chatting, but for video calls I'd probably go with discord, from my research so far. I don't think I'm going to be switching to teams. I think that is the alternative for the non-adult world. I know they are pushing it on Skype themselves, and there's a notification about Teams. But we have to be careful with adult calls, ToS etc.

I focused more on Discord because I know it better, and even though I really don't care for either platform socially, I heard that Discord has better clarity on calls.

Traditionally I haven't really gone hard into Indie camming, and it's just kind of a side thing for me. But it is useful to consider whether I'd like to do more of that type of work, and if so, I would definitely want to have accounts on all the major platforms. This thread was meant specific to MFC though, which is different. Your comment kind of makes me think of Indie camming in general, and how far that direction I want to go/ direct energy, so still thanks.
