is the ID that youre using expired? i tried to sign up with an expired state ID card (didnt realize it was expired) and had my app denied like 4 times before i realized that was it.

i didn't get approved so obviously its not about the ID. the thing is that i've tried to sign up many times but i never received an email from them about the approval

I would suggest checking your spam filter. With webmail like yahoo/hotmail/gmail by default spam is put in a separate folder.
Cox, My ISP's default is to delete spam without telling you. I had to go change the spam setting at Cox to get mfc email through. Not cool at all.

just being a member, I dont know the order of things. But I thought I recalled models saying they didn't get an email but they had their username and password and found their account was good to go. if you have a username/password, have you tried logging in?

How is not getting approved "obviously" not about your ID? You're asking for help, and people are going through the logical reasons that it might not be happening smoothly. First, you're from the US. So, we crossed being from a banned country off the list for you. Then Daph asked about your ID. Even if your ID is valid they might not take it if it doesn't have your correct address. Is all that info matching? Are you pregnant? I think even though they allow pregnant women, they don't let new pregnant sign ups in. Are you over their target age? I think I remember once a lady that said they didn't let her in due to age. She now makes good money (i'm guessing because she has pretty decent placement) on Streamate. If they're denying you, they pretty much skip emailing back all together.

because i've signed up and i didn't get approved i didn't get the email that says that my account is approved i can't log in... so its not about my ID

you're not giving us a lot of information to go on, so our questions that might sound obvious to you, we are simply asking because we don't know and we want to help you.

could you walk us through more specific what you've done and where you got stuck?

from MFC turorial:

Check out MyFreeCams.com and familiarize yourself with the site and see how it works.
Complete the application at the Model Signup Page.
After you are approved, you will be e-mailed a link to complete your account information.
You will be then e-mailed a username and password to log in to a special page for models.
You will have to upload your Photo ID and fill out your profile.
Then you can download the software and go online!

so, where are you on these steps?

Your logic here is not making sense.

I believe she's saying she hasn't gotten to the next step, where they reply and ask for more information as well as the ID.

I have no idea with these things on MFC. For me it took pretty much no time to be accepted. Same for a friend I signed up. Some girls seem to just never hear back for them for no reason and clearly take it personally when it's obviously not about looks because there are plenty of women less conventionally attractive who get accepted. There are occasional patterns but sometimes girls just seem to get overlooked. I'm not sure if they only have a certain amount of sign ups at a time or something so if they've got a larger volume they just don't accept some girls. The weird thing is when this happens they seem to just stick to their guns and ignore the model in question sending them e-mails.

Ohh. I thought the ID was lumped into step one. :shifty:

Nope! That's how guys make model accounts and use them only for pming and stuff but never broadcast. Sneaksters!

Oh man. I guess it's been a while since I signed up to a new site. If all they have to go on is the IP address and email address, maybe she could have her IP address reset?

I've had signup issues before where the automated validation email they send you, never works. You click the link in it, and it appears like it works initially, but your account never becomes a validated account. Is that what you're experiencing? Their customer support was of no help and never responded to me either.

I don't even remember what I eventually did, or what changed to allow me to create my own account. But once upon a time, for my first MFC account I had a friend make an account for me. I told them the username and password I wanted, then they used their computer & email address. If that isn't an option for you, maybe try another web browser. Also try clearing your flash cache. http://www.macromedia.com/support/docum ... ger07.html

then they either don't like your photo or the little bio you had to write. have you tried different photos? you'll probably need a fairly good picture, no pixels or very dark or lots of shadows.
the little bio thing seemed to me like any other job application, use correct english, interpunction, etc. and show some enthusiasm. keep it short.

i finally got approved then i logged in my account and uploaded my ID photo yesterday. today i tried to log in and it said

Katherinee, if you sent the the pic of the front and back of your license, it might take them a few days to approve it. You can either A) wait a few days and try logging in again or B) do as the popup says and email them. Sometimes new model signups can take hours, sometimes weeks. It just depends on how backed up they are.

As long as you are A) over 18 and B) not in a banned country and C) not already been a model on MFC, there shouldn't be any problems after they finalize the approval process.

Same thing is happening to me and it's been 2 MONTHS!! I've emailed them a few times to sort it out but nothing happens, their support sucks. Im on Streamate now, but haven't had my first show yet. Streamate's support is much better in my opinion. Let's hope it'll last!

Wait so this sort of thing happened to you on MFC AND Chaturbate?
Chaturbate is known for it but on MFC this is rare... if it has happened to you on both, something has to be going on...

I'm incredibly curious what the reasoning is.

Does your ID photo look different from the photo you took?
Do you look a lot younger than 18?
Did you fill out your name in the application exactly as it appears on the id?
Did you move to a different address since your id was issued?

I think I recall xxxyixiyxxx saying she was in the Phillipenes at one point, but had moved before applying to any camsites. That's probably where some of her struggles are coming from.

So where are you on these steps now? Assume between 1st half of 4 and the 2nd half of 4 (uploaded id, but immediately tried to fill out profile and can't).

Check out MyFreeCams.com and familiarize yourself with the site and see how it works.

5. i got approved then uploaded my ID photo then the other day i wasn't able to log in!

Possible these don't get processed at weekends and it's just sat waiting in a queue to be dealt with Monday/Tuesday? If this is a week later, then you've emailed the Model Support email one assumes and still just waiting on hearing back? Check your spam folder just incase...

Given the turnover of models, I wouldn't be surprised to hear there's 50 applicants a day.
