Hello. New to the forums and newer to the scene. I work for a small video game developer, and we make adult games. Pretty story driven with a good bit of suggestive content, and we've worked with talent like Zara Durose and Dani Divine in the past. While someone like Zara has some hardcore performance experience, the content that we had produced was pretty softcore, a good bit of solo dialog and some underwear scenes.

And here's an example of one of the scenes Zara did for us:

We're not super happy with the agency experience for a lot of reasons and would like to work directly with some cam talent to potentially produce some content that is more intimate and more sexual. We're pretty early in this process, so we haven't set in stone how far we'd like to go.

Here's where we need help:

1. Is the cam community open to producing script-based videos? They tend to be pretty short, but you'd have to say a few lines and do a little performing.

2. What's the best way to engage a cam model for this kind of work? Previously we worked through an agency that did all of the contact work for us. Couldn't really find something like that for the cam scene.

3. What would the pricing structure look like for something like this? We're happy to pay. Just aren't sure what the best practices are.

4. Do you have any suggestions for things we should be aware of or pay attention to? We like to be really upfront about everything. These are commercial projects that are free to download, and we will pay you for your time, and we aren't interested in asking anyone to do something they aren't comfortable with, so the content of the script spoken and acted will be agreed upon ahead of time.

May I ask why you're looking for cam models for this?

I tend to like to keep my location somewhat private, which is why I tend to ignore e-mails offering to fly me to L.A. to be a porn star and whatnot.

Can you find people on craigslist? State that people with cam modelling experience in the area are preferred if that is the case?

We aren't looking to fly anyone anywhere, which is actually why we thought to check to see if the cam world would be a fit. Our thought was someone in this space has some production experience by default. Frankly, the production value that we've seen from cam streams often rivals or is better than what an agency gives us. We pay the agency, who takes a cut, and then they pay the actual talent a piece of what's left. If we hired someone used to filming themselves and is pretty good at engaging audiences as a solo entertainer, we're thinking that the overall quality would go up.

So yeah, this is 100% remote work. Recording yourself saying some lines that we've written as part of the game's story, performing some scenes (TBD based largely on comfort level and our creative team's thought), you send us the videos, we pay for the work, and that's it. We'd love to have you (and when I say you I mean whoever we end up hiring) promote the game to your audience as well, but that's a bonus, and we'd be happy to reciprocate by promoting your channel directly to players of the game as well.

Okay so:

1. You have girls to vouch for you and your professionalism - this is good for references (even handing over my content to some dude I'd want legit references.

2. Your going to have to pay, and probably a lot. I know personally my content makes a lot of money so to do a scripted scene (I never do scripted stuff and Im sure most every other girl here is the same way- unless it's for a custom which we all charge for). If your willing to pay then I don't think your going to have a problem

3. I think you would have better luck with clip makers who already produce content (like myself) - most of us have editing skills, film with high quality stuff and deal with scripted stuff all the time. Not that cam models don't have these things I just feel like a content maker would be a better fit.

This is all great info. A lot is a relative term, but I suspect we'd still be in the ballpark of the agency rates we've been paying in the past. That would be fine. Finding clip makers would also be fine with us. Do you have a suggestion of a website/database/service we can use to find that talent (looking at clips4sale.com now thanks to your signature)? A performer with editing skills would be incredible.

Right here!! There are plenty of clip makers who are on this forum. You can also try fetlife as well (I have been hiring models for 2 years and hire a lot of girls through there). I am interested, I'll shoot you a PM

I would say the majority of cam models are also content makers, just FYI. The two are not exclusive from each other. I'm an MFC cam model for example but i'm also the co-owner of an indie production company.
