Hey There!
I'm new to this site, but not new in the industry.
We are starting a new video selling site for Femdom + Fetish videos. The company will be located in the EU. I would love to know from first hand, what are your current struggles with the options available today, like manyvids and clips4sale.
What would be something you would like to see in a new platform or would want to improve?

We are trying to keep fees as low as possible (at around 25%-30%, maybe even lower in the future)
Would also love to know if you would sign up and sell your videos in our website!

I'll be totally honest and preface this by saying that I wouldn't sign up to any new site. When a site is totally new models/producers don't know if they can trust that site with their personal information and with payments. I'm also weary of any site that says they want to keep their cut as low as possible, because from what I've seen in the past anything less than a 40% site cut is not sustainable in the long run for huge sites. Look at what happened with iWantClips. They went from models getting 70% of the revenue from video sales to 60% and people were not happy.

Basically, your biggest hurdle in the beginning will be to get people to trust your site. Potentially getting a big name/trusted person within the community on board would help a lot. Also, making sure that all personal data is saved on a secure, encrypted server so there is no data leaks like we've seen in the past from sites that were negligent in protecting that information. Also, don't make any promises pertaining payouts that you may have to renege on in the future.

As far as improvements, I honestly can't think of any right now. For me, the biggest thing I'm concerned about with any clip site is internal traffic. I don't do social media and I don't want to have to drive my own traffic. MV, C4S and iWC, all sites I post content to, they all have awesome internal traffic. My second biggest concern with a site is how smoothly it runs and if I can post without having issues. Each site is going to have little bugs from time to time, which is understandable, but for the majority of the time I want to be able to post my stuff without problems and when there is issues I want a support team that is quick and helpful. This is also something that I feel my sites have been good on lately.

I appreciate your opinion and can totally understand your concerns. I will try my best to address these issues.

I wonder if you ever used kinkbomb? The site seems to be kind of dead despite being around for pretty long.

I've never used Kinkbomb, but I'm sure there's some other models here who may be able to give their opinion on it. The only clip site I've used aside from my main sites and MFC Share is ExtraLunchMoney. I gave up on that site reaaaallyyy fast. The payout options were weird and I didn't find them to have quality traffic. Which reminds me of another concern. Payout options. I prefer direct deposit with no fees and I'll just go ahead and say most models, especially US based models, do as well. MV just dropped their payout minimum for direct deposit to $50 and a lot of people were happy over that, since it really helps out models who may not post too much or struggled to hit the $100 minimum. Cryptocurrency and prepaid payment cards would be a good option too from what I've seen and heard. Anything that is legal, keeps model fees minimal and is not PayPal.

One other thing I thought of that could potentially put your site on the map is having a model referral program. You can either do a one time bonus or 5% lifetime revenue share. It'd give models the incentive to sign up early and get other models to sign up after them under their referral link.

ETA: Also, chargeback protection.

I'd rather a site take 40% and have lots of paying traffic (example, Clips4sale, they have so much on-site traffic that there's no need to advertise elsewhere), than take a smaller percentage but have no traffic. 60% of something is better than 75% of nothing.

And absolutely invest in a good, adult friendly payment processor. We've seen sites flounder and die because they were using a payment processor that wasn't adult friendly, or that ended up ceasing to exist. There was a big payment processor kerfuffle a couple of years ago, and many sites were hit hard by it. Clips4sale and Manyvids were either using a different processor, or were able to switch over quickly enough that they didn't have issues. On the other hand, iwantclips didn't pay models for months, extralunchmoney switched to a new processor, lost it, was without one for a while, and finally got a new one, kinkbomb was paying models with paypal for ages until they finally got a new one..... It wasn't pretty.

In addition to having that sweet sweet direct deposit for US models, decent options for international models is crucial. At one point, IWC had a pretty high, I think it was $1000, minimum amount for international models to get payout. Some models easily make that in a month, but many don't, and don't want to have to wait two or more months to get paid, they want or even that money sooner. I'm in the US, but hearing about that was so frustrating, I can't imagine how stressful it is to deal with.

Thank you for your help. I'll keep these things in mind.
We'll definitely invest in a good payment gateway and we'll consider starting an affiliate program.

I have some last few questions:
- Are DMCA takedowns something that is important to you? I'm guessing this is something many successful models have to face with their content leaked into tube sites.
- How does free content work for you guys? Does it help you get quality traffic? Seems to be working on Pornhub to some extent.

Again, I appreciate your help.

Member here. I very much like Manyvids. they pretty much do everything perfect. There's only 2 things I don't like about them:
1. Taxes added at checkout. Very annoying as you want to spend a certain amount and then at checkout, 10/15% is added.
2. They don't have a wishlist. Sometimes I'm just browsing around but don't have the funds yet. Then it would be handy to put that certain vid in a list to buy later.
