What would you like to see from a new cam site ?

Hello everyone we are new here ... We are a new cam site currently under construction . We have been reading your posts on here and found them very informative and thought we would pop by and see if you girls could assist us further .....
Is there anything you would like to see from a cam site that you currently arnt getting ? ....... We will be running on the usual and standard token system, we have the tipping feature, cam2cam feature (only with prior agreement from the model), pm system payed for by tokens, performer of the week feature .. We intend on taking a lower percentage than other cam sites and have a few other tricks up our sleeves to make us stand out ........... Is there anything we can do to have happy models ? Everyone will already have their favourite sites to work on we are sure , what would persuade you to cam with us?
On the other hand, is there anything that you think the clients would like to see that currently isn't being catered for on other sites ? Many thanks in advance for your replies ...

I'd like to see a hybrid of MFC/CB. CB has apps that MFC would benefit from greatly. It saves the model from having to set up games herself, using money for her own supplies, keeping track of countdowns, etc.

Also a major point of contention here recently has been scamming on the part of models or members. I think a standard checkout/point of sale for the models who have content is the answer to both of their problems. (I.E. a model advertises her videos, pic sets, on her profile. The member can tip the required amount at checkout and receive instant streaming access/download link. I'd even give the model the option of having her videos on stream- only or possibly charge extra for downloadable versions). That way models get their money, and members are not taking a chance on paying something for nothing.

Member notes popup linked to members name so models can easily and quickly jot down notes during private sessions.

Monthly goals contests for all models, not just top models. Imlive does this and it's a big motivation. For example, a model has an average of 40 hours per pay period and $1000 in earnings. The goal is then set in incremental increases such as 20% So the model will have to be logged in with a total of 48 hrs and at least $1200 in earnings to get the prize. The prize is usually something like $50 or so but it encourages models to work longer on the site. And the prize amount goes up as her increase goes up. If she averaged a 50% increase in hours and earnings then the prize would be $100 just as an example. I prefer these contests over more exclusive contests like MFC because they give every model from top to bottom a chance to participate and earn more.

I have seen several new camsites popup and they all had one thing in common. When I went to look at them, they had no models online. If you do not have a huge chunk of your budget set aside to pay models a minimum amount to stay online for customers to interact with almost nobody is going to use your site. You should also consider advertising costs as well.

Ability to block not only states and countries, but parts of states. For example, I'm in Northern California and have California blocked for privacy. But I won't mind Southern California being unblocked (especially with the large amount of people down there).

Paying traffic - this requires good advertising on your part, to draw in both quality members and models


Accurate advertising and requirements for affiliates to advertise honestly - many camsites get traffic from ads that claim to link you to a dating site, or something along the lines of "fuck hot bitches now!" This leads to models having to put up with guys who aren't clear about what kind of website they're on, and members who will never spend a dime because they want to date/fuck, not watch cams.

Reliable payout - whatever the payout frequency is, make sure everyone gets paid on time, and the full amount.

Clear rules and fair rule enforcement - when rules are vague and open to interpretation, this leads to problems. Ditto for when some models get banned for doing "x", while others do "x" all the time and never get into trouble. In addition, members should be made aware of what models are and are not permitted to do, so that both parties know what's allowed and what isn't.

Charge backs covered. There is no reason a model who works her behind off should log in to find some a-hole did a charge back and the site isnt backing her and instead took money from her she earned. Cover that shit.

Ability to cash out more frequently even daily if chosen. I understand minimums like $20 for US and so much for international girls but the ability to cash out kept one studio afloat despite the guy being a massive tool, and made another open up as well for this ability alone. It also has been a huge draw for another site (MGF, when they feel like working properly) and if you did it it'd be a major draw for you as well. You can have it so the girls can choose to be paid still weekly or bi weekly for those who prefer it but daily pay is hugely motivation for girls and when in a pinch and they need money fast they're gonna choose a site they can do that on and it could be yours.

As said above the ability to have vids/pic sets on profiles (or somewhere else) that members can buy outright and receive automatically. MFC doesnt have this, SM has vids on girls profiles but that money does not go to the girls, they arent informed they're even there, and girls have no control over what they are, and CB has them but lowers the size and quality so much they look like shit. Let us keep our stuff in the quality it was uploaded and let members get it ASAP and a lot of people would be happy. I agree also with one charge to stream and one to download set by the model. And if she chooses she could pick only one even being an option at all.

Actual enforcement of rules for both members and models. If a guy keeps asking for me to fuck my dog he should be banned from the site. Not just my room so he can keep going to other girls. If something is banned on your site it's not only the models who should have to comply with that stuff. Sadly many sites just do nothing despite what members say or do. They go around harassing girls, asking for things they know are not allowed, and even threaten models and yet still have nothing happen to them from the site when reported. That's pathetic and should not happen.

Proper filtering options, especially given the vast differences in Europe. Its so unbelievably frustrating that 99.99% of the models in the European filter on MFC are from Russia. It'd be nice to see whos out there from Germany, France, Spain & Italy

What are the better options though? I know of Payoneer, Paxum, and Wire transfer only. Payoneer is obviously terrible with fees and is insecure. I know little of Paxum. And while wire transfer is secure doesnt it usually cost $40 or something to get them on most sites?

I guess it depends on where the site is based. Adultwork, for example: Somehow they are able to provide cheques in 10 different currencies. That's a huge help, as any cheques in foreign currencies, at least with my bank, incur a $10-$50 fee just to pay them in. Kinkbomb have a great way of doing it, but I don't want to talk about that outside of MO (sorry!).

Yup, wire transfers are ridiculously expensive. Payoneer at least have their Global Bank Transfer option, but apparently they've changed their rules regarding adult sites. I'm hoping that's not going to bite me in the ass any time soon.

I'm not asking for miracles, just for them to give it some thought. For me personally, it's one of the first things I consider when signing up to a new site. And I do think you have a point - we're short on good options for international models. Which is why I like to mention it when I can

I want a new cam site that is realistic and knowledgeable - doesn't promise to pay models a giant percentage that they then can't afford, doesn't consider themselves a gamechanger and think they're reinventing the wheel, etc. That stuff comes across, to me, as a red flag because we see it so often and those sites never become anything. Basically I want new sites run by smart, realistic people who know the industry well. (This isn't meant to be passive aggressive, just honest after the countless new sites we've seen open.)

Plus like everyone else said: reliable payments, clear and equally applied rules, a support team who understands said rules and applies them equally, high quality stream, charge back protection. And paying traffic.

We are absolutely wanting to tailor the site the suit both models and members , without members we have no models and without models we have no members , we intend on making everyone happy ... This was just an initial post aimed towards models to see if we could provide them with any features that they would appreciate that they are not currently receiving and are going to ask members same question on a separate forum post ....
We have some exiting new features that we think members will love that is currently not available on any other cam site which is proving a nightmare to set up but so worth it for everyone .. We will be rewarding loyal members and always happy to hear your comments and suggestions , we as site owners know that happy models make happy customers so looking to provide as much as we can to provide a good all round hosting service , we appreciate your reply and hope that when we are liveyou woukd take the time to check us out

I understand your concerns with our initial post , please be assured that is absolutely not what we are trying to say , we purely want to provide a good service to all , we hear so many mistakes that sites make we are trying to get as much information from you all to make sure that we don't fall short , in terms of the features .. We have done a vast amount of research to see what is currently being offered and what is not and have found a couple of things that is not currently being catered for .. Features that help the model make more money and gives an extra and more interactive experience for the viewer ... We are a 30 year old couple with a vast experience in this industry, we want to provide you all with a more personal and one to one service so you the performers feel you are being looked after and the members are made to feel like the valued customers that they are /will be ...

The ability to record your feed directly on site is a fun feature. One website I worked on you could automatically record everything and then go through and pick what show parts you wanted to download and even sell directly on the site. That was awesome.

Most camsites allow no animals at all in any situation, and I have had far too many instances where I thought I got all the cats out, but one was sleeping behind or under something and I didn't see her. Inevitably, she would wake up and jump on the bed, leading to me moving as fast as possible to get her out so someone didn't report me and get my account suspended/banned.

Indeed, perhaps require your members to identify themselves as much as the models do if they are to see moving images. This will make it hard for underage people to log in, for instance, and should keep out most trolls.. and if trolls do come, you can actually contact local police with evidence and a name of the person doing the harassment. So.. do not require just an email adress, but ask for a pic of their ID card and a pic of them holding said ID card etc..

While I agree it's a terrible time trying to keep animals out of frame while working (I have a couple who whine and cry and claw at the door constantly if they are locked out of a room) I kinda am glad they are not allowed on since it keeps bestiality cases pretty clear cut. That's sad but it happens. I love sites that let me have them on cam and people get to know them and love them and they have even been tipped but so many people take advantage. So if there will be a clear way to catch girls who are abusing their pets for tokens then great have them on cam, but if not then they should not be allowed. For this alone I would be happy to have my feed recorded, and every other girls, to keep tabs on this stuff. The feed can be kept for 48 hours or something and deleted (I know space can be expensive) if no reports are filed and if one is then it gets reviewed. Easy way to catch rule breakers and abusers and harassers and everything in between this way.

I do really like the option mentioned of recording our shows and having them available to models too. I think that would get hella expensive to store all that so maybe to help out the files are sent to us to download within a time frame or something then they are gone. That seems fair. Maybe even a pop up before a model logs off where she has to select even to have it saved or not and if she says no it's gone from her end for good. (I know on slow nights there would be nothing to keep after all.) Im sure someone could come up with a better idea than that though but it would be a great option to have.

Snowie with how many foreign members cam sites can have IDs and such can be hard to do and verify. US is easy cause we have licenses but that's not the case every where. Plus not every one has a passport either. I dont. SM requires you to have a credit card on file verify age which is a good step. Even with that though people steal their parents cards to get on underage or steal others for fraud. And there are still many trolls who get through. So maybe a CC on file, name, address, and IP verified not to be a VPN would work much better. Plus banning members who are banned from several rooms.

My fantasy website. Beyond the obvious traffic and more particular paying traffic, and variety of hot models.

• Clear differentiation between the benefits for paying vs guest. E.g. streammate only topless is allowed if you want to see more you have to pay $.
• Look at combining MFC groups with SM gold shows, to make a performance which is affordable for members but profitable and more flexible for models.
• The model is most important, but community matters also, provide good tools for help members find a community.
  
• Allow models to set their own prices, but provide strong guidance to new models to prevent exploitation
  
• A placement system which rewards hard working models who provide good entertainment (and make you money) but eliminates the stress inducing and perverse incentive to not cam when things are slow.
• Make the placement system transparent to models and members alike. We'll collectively reverse engineer it so why hide it?
• "Queen for a day" Provide a mechanism to allow less popular models to be spotlighted for a shift. It could be random, or contributing to the wiki/community, or converting guest to members just give girls who aren't Aspen Rae, hope to be discovered.
  
• Provide a fair dispute resolution system between models and members for any transaction that uses tokens.
• A meaningful reward system. Discounts on tokens works. However, there are literally score of reward system out there, most companies have found there are more meaningful reward than another airline trip for somebody with a million air miles.Steal from them
• Last but not definitely not least decent resolution at least 720p
