What is your favorite kind of pizza?

I've been trying to branch out and order new things on my pizza lately.

My favorite pizza is plain pineapple or four+ cheese. Very exciting.

Last night I wanted to be different and ordered half pineapple and half mushroom. It was good, but I'm sure it could have been better. I don't really like meat on pizza personally... so what do you guys usually order on your pizza?

I like to do pineapple and ham, green peppers and Italian sausage, or tomatoes and spinach with feta.

Though, honestly, pepperoni does me just fine though. I'm simple like that.

If I'm at Round Table, I always get Italian Garlic Supreme. Pepperoni, Italian sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, green onions, and lots of garlic on Creamy Garlic Sauce.

But otherwise, I like garbage grinder pizza... Thin crust, with beef, pepperoni, onions, olives, mushrooms, Italian sausage with extra cheese and extra pepperoni.

Eh... I like a lot of different pizzas. I was big on bacon, spinach, and mushroom with a creamy sauce for a while. Most of my pizzas of late have come from a Southeastern chain called the Mellow Mushroom. I'm slowly working through their selection of pizzas. The Mad Italian minus the olives is my favorite so far. Last Saturday I went with the Red Skin Potato Pie though I added some Jalapenos. It was soooo good. They also have one called Bayou Bleu that is becoming a favorite. I've copied the descriptions from a PDF of their menu below. Maybe some of them will give you some ideas.

MAD ITALIAN
Olive oil and garlic base under mozzarella, provolone, and feta cheeses, topped with genoa salami, pepperoni, banana peppers and black olives.

RED SKIN POTATO PIE
Olive oil and garlic base pizza loaded with red potato, Applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar & mozzarella cheeses, sprinkled with chives & drizzled with sour cream & spicy ranch dressing.

BAYOU BLEU
A spicy bleu cheese base topped with grilled shrimp, spicy andouille sausage covered in mozzarella and topped with chives.

I love mexican style pizza, it pleases me greatly, but I also love this veggie pizza my grandmother makes every Christmas eve for their party- I could eat the whole thing if I wanted.

But then again, pizza is like sex- even when the pizza isn't the best- hey it's still pizza.

I usually get some sort of meat lovers with pan or thick crust.... Ital sausage, peperoni, ham/bacon, beef. It's all good washed down with almost frozen cold beer or icy coke.

It really depends on the pizza, but good god it is hard to fuck up a double mushroom pizza.
I like the bread to be soft with LOTS of sauce and spices. I also like a chewy crust. The cheese must either be a small amount or just enough to cover it. I don't like so much cheese that I constipate the moment it hits my mouth.

I also favor jalapenos and/or sausage! I like other stuff, but those are my mega-prefs.

i totally love it.. since i can't get the same effect on the crust pizzamakers do.. in the oven..

Double mushroom sounds amazing, I only like chewy crust, too. It's like extra bread sticks... I can't do thin crust pizza ever. I think next time I'm going to try extra cheese, extra mushroom, green peppers, red peppers, spinach, banana peppers, tomatoes, onions...

There's actually a new mom and pop pizza place that just opened up around here that delivers that offers white pizza. I totally want to try it.

We call this one Portuguesa, I don't know why, maybe a "A little bit of everything" was not that catchy: mozzarella cheese, tomato, pepperoni, ham, onions, peppers, boiled eggs and black olives and/or green.

Most of my pizzas of late have come from a Southeastern chain called the Mellow Mushroom.

mellow mushroom does a pretty good vegan pizza and calzones.

i discovered a chain called z pizza tonight. O EM GEE.
they have organic crust and sauce and vegan cheese as well as regular. i got one with vegan cheese, artichoke hearts, red bell peppers, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. it was sexy magic. they also have veggie burger crumbles and a whole host of awesome veg toppings including truffle oil which i really want to try. has anyone had truffle oil? my order was also only 5 dollars more than when i get a cheeseless pizza from pizza hut which is crazy.

I have yet to have a bad baked crust after using that
