Fun fact.
A couple months ago I discovered someone on xhamster/strip using pre-recorded videos from these sites, and actually succeeding for a while..
i mean it was literally like 5+ days, and took me finally being able to get in touch with one of the models, while she was live on CB, alerting her and providing evidence....
and next time i checked it was removed...
it's actually a really interesting story, so here's a
n attempt at a short version..
back in January i went on xhamster, noticed a pretty recognizable model was on... but using a different name.. popped in i was like wow i've never seen her live... cool, she must be laying low and just having fun on a different site.. i left... saw another particularly stunning model so naturally i pop in for a closer look.
the "stream" wasn't making since, she was getting tips galore and then idle... and never once reacted to anything people were saying... to test, i tipped a few tokens, enough to make her notice the toy vibrating inside and i'd get an alert... NOPE
i thought back to that original model... what do you know... VERY similar naming structure, all 2 part words and 8 characters.. suddenly im feeling like fuckin dick tracy and shit,
opened a dialog with live support... .waited... waited.. even used words like SCAM FRAUD etc... 3 hours later i get a reply.. gave all the details. more than enough proof that anyone could clearly
see there was something fishy....
this mf'er has the
audacity to come back not 20 minutes later and tell dick tracy that upon investigating he determined there is nothing wrong with these two streams and thanked me.
so the tips were *pouring in* for the "girls" the fraud was pretending to be.... (he never once chatted, btw, but banned in both rooms for calling him out!!)
and for real i had not a damn thing better to do... so i did it for the cause. i remembered some details about the 2nd one after i went back in using private browser mode to watch more, sick moves only quasi-transformed a proclaimed dick holmes or sherlock tracy would do. taking those details from my elephant-like memory bank i googled a pretty sophisticated query "<modelsname>"
after the top secret database disk drives stopped spinning the data had securely landed in my firefox tab. literally like the 3rd result it listed one of these sites, pay-walled but allowed a preview or two... remembering the socks she had on (special christmas socks) i did some quick maths and science like deductions. working tirelessly it was a few hours later before the results made any sense. i came up with December 25th... so i found the video from that day.. BAM. took my time and made adjustments so it would be perfectly framed, waited for my color adjusting app to provide the perfect light, within no more than 9 hours i was able to take the screenshot. with no time to waste i accosted the support agent, provided him with this 100% golden egg of proof... he actually thanked me, seemed to be concerned... and genuinely thanked me and said they will take care of it!
24 hours later, imagine my surpise when the vids were still up.i hit up support, got a different person, she responded instantly, asked her to reference the chat, and she assured me this was being taken care of if he said it was, but that's all she could provide.
so in all seriousness, i'll stop being sarcastic. this shit was pissing me off. i am going how the HELL would a model feel protected on here if they knew about this???? tips were still racking up on both streams... even the LONG TERM GOALS had been propagated with chips... on blank white profiles... some guys..........................are............................... not smart. at all. i was like what in the ????, even after telling them they kept throwing tips...
so, compelled to see this through to the end i did
2 3 a number of things, i had made a reddit thread the next morning after noticing they were still online but the videos had changed to different recordings, setups, the works.. so yeah created a thread on Chaturbate official one (i guess it was official, tons of activity) to which nobody responded.. so i frigging deleted it 3 days later.
backing up to the things i did.. it was infact the wee hours of same morning that i decided to hell with doing things the way that made sense.... the obviously correct way, the only way it should be... and decided to inform CB that one of their models was a victim of fraud on a competitors site. e-mailed chaturbate support, without saying names i told them what the deal was in a round about way, and indicated i was concerned as it's been maybe edging on 48 hours and no action had been
the only email i received then was the automated reply. but determined I provided them with the update that i had talked with the female representative from xham who had re-assured me they would be taken care of.... 12 hours later.. i sent another one with a different tone going "WTF???" and a bit about how are models supposed to feel protected. 25 hours after that i received a human response

the other thing i did... after the first 24 of them not being deleted.. i reached out to the first model, the only way i could... through onlyfans.. she had a free one, so i was like heck yeah this is gonna work!!!! well, there was a $5 tip required for a PM. i can respect that, with over half a million followers on CB alone... so i paid the $5 and sent the message... fortunately i had typed enough to get my point across because i accidentally sent the message somehow... low and behold it would have cost me $10 to finish so.... yeah.... the coolest thing was, yes her video got taken down... and no i never even got a reply or a thank you or been blessed with any sort of good fortune since.. but that doesn't perturb me none. not meme'n at all there, i know how twisted and dark life really is... and "Grim reality" does not shock me much anymore, if at all.
casting aside the grim reality of it..... with or without my valiant efforts to put a stop to what took me all of 30 seconds to figure out and have proof-in-hand of... golden.. no frigging platinum tier goose eggs of evidence... it doesn't take a genius to figure out that "wow. this must be the way this actually is", but thankfully i was there anyway. hah. ok no more.
already disgusted at this lack of action on behalf of both sites, i contemplated deleting my account on xham.... but i ended up getting bored, getting platinum and a bunch of tokens... ya know, for the cause.. and sometime between 84 and 96 hours they took the very famous model's stream offline... well that's something... the other one was up still with a fresh video and a who slew of new tippers, and about 1/5th of a way to a fairly substantial goal..
ironically when you have the platinum status your support questions are answered instantly, but will it do any good?
however there is some light at the end of the tunnel...
around 96 hours have gone by, really probably more... and finally i was able to catch the young russian model's stream! apparently she had taken a break.. so confidence back on high i waltz on in and introduce myself, say i had tweeted at her earlier but she had claimed to block tweets, once again, understandable.. the look on her face as i was telling her this, and her mod PMd us in some sort of 3 way chat... and i showed them the screenshots.... the look on her face when she opened the steam and saw her own video being played.... a mix of expressions, admiration mixed with bewilderment, anger yet happy it was reported.... i mean on some level i could see being impersonated as a time-honored rite-of-passage for models. heck of a lot better than being unknown.
a true gentleman, i received the thank yous from both of them and i felt proud, the 100+ hour ordeal was over.
an hour or two later, the fraud stream was offline for good!!!!
i'm sure that's the only time videos have been taken from these sites and used to profit off unknowing innocent models, right?? guys?? right? :||||||
that who situation was complete crap... what if it was something that needed to be off the air immediately??? and by contacting another company's support, i was thinking there was some direct line red colored phone connection... all those billions of dollars gotta go somewhere... but not into support i guess. no offense to the hard working folks around here connected to these places... ya'll already know!
i admit i didn't want to go through that again, so i didn't even look. bit it REALLY makes you wonder how many impersonations are really going on at any given time... potentially undetected for days... weeks.. your months or even your yeear.... but i'll be there for you, too... you realize how frigging easy it is to pull off, and how dumb some of us guys really are... naive and gullible people exist, and the sheer volume of folks watching porn at any given time.. i am sure the variance can seem stacked high over a short sample span like i witnessed... but jeeez that doesn't bode well on society as a whole...

P.S. - but seriously wtf is with those sites, it seems like they're making a killing charging people to view illegally recorded streams.. and to be quite frank, i may or may not have ALLEGEDLY had the thought cross my mind that the first person at offending site's support could have been part of it... but there's no way i would allegedly think that way so must be purely drivel.
