a $50 VISA gift card (it's gone now cuz I used part of it to buy food, and part of it to buy a few Christmas gifts for family)

And I got on MFC super early this morning and actually DOUBLED my goal...yay!

My dad paid my electric bill, and my mom bought me a vacuum that is supposed to be awesome enough to pick up sand and pet hair. :dance: One of my favorite MFC dudes got me perfume, and my Gram sent me an amazon gift card which I will likely spend on household stuff, underpants and baby clothes. I do not enjoy shopping for clothes for myself, but something about dressing your kid is addictive. Hehehe. Hope you are all having a very nice day.

For me, I got to spend the day with BJ, his mom, his middle sister and his sister's new baby. :dance: We had lunch and just chilled for a couple hours. I'd say I'm very happy with that being my present this year. :mrgreen:

My family is pretty funny, their ideas of who I am/what Im into are pretty nutty. BUT it all turned out to be really useful stuff!

-A tea diffuser jug: I drink a fuck ton of iced tea, mostly yerba mate, because it supresses appetite/ has caffeine in it and isnt coffee.
-bunch of yerba! My mom doesnt even know what it is she just grabbed the cool looking box.
-personal blender, spot on because I hate having to wash the big heavy one when I want a single serve smoothie. But its something I couldnt justify buying myself
-A typical dad gift: a giant spot light.
I'm sure he has no sweet clue how useful its actually going to be to me. :lol:
- a bag of stevia. lolwut. I'll make low cal vegan caramels with it though

Can I say things Ive bought myself?

- A vanity and a lingerie chest (fucking wanted these forever!)

my brother wrapped my headphones he stole from me, as he got a new pair today.
I got some glass dildos, a bathroom rug, a Nintendo 3ds and Zelda ocarina of time, some stuffed animals from regulars.

All in all I made out like a bandit :] guess you get what you give, this was my first year buying people good gifts.

Yeah, I go through a jug a day. Its great in mango flavour, but a lot of it is branded as "diet tea" or whatever so its expensive.
I get the unflavoured loose stuff from the middle eastern grocer for very cheap, definitely the way to go.

You'd think at my age I would stop getting ear infections 2 to 3 times a year. :lol: At least now I have an excuse to not cam the rest of the week, lol.

I actually got this as an early X-Mas present, in November, but still counted it. It's a really fun game, the main parts are very "early Legend of Zelda". A little short for my liking, but the final boss is fun to beat.

I didn't get anything yet! This was my first Christmas without my family. :sad1:

My entire family is in another state this year, and yesterday was so weird. I couldn't even go on MFC, because I was lacking in the Christmas cheer department.

We were going to Skype, but it ended up not working. I cried a lot of the day, because it felt so wrong to be without them. I don't like growing up. It sucks!

I've remembered, however, that I am very lucky to have them at all. No matter how far. And I just have to wait patiently to be with them again. Distance really does make the heart grow fonder!
