Day 1:
I am thankful to all my friends and family that have stood behind me and supported my career choice, even if they don't like it or understand it, the most important thing to them is that I am happy and that means the world to me.

That Thanksgiving is almost here! I want all the turkeys!

And that my boobs are now big enough to give tit jobs (or whatever you call them). They're fun!

Day 1: I am thankful for the wonderful friends who have helped keep me more-or-less emotionally and mentally stable throughout the years (different friends each crisis, but I am still thankful for all of them).

I don't think I could fill 30 days with unique things. There's really just 3 things for me, but I'm really thankful for each. Anything else I could name is small shit that doesn't REALLY matter in the grand scheme of life... so how about...
Days 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, and 28 I'm thankful to have survived yet another year. :p

I'm thankful to Pete (an MFC member) who originally told me about this forum, and of course Amber for this making this forum in the first place, for all great the friends I've made through ACF! I really don't know where I'd be if it were not for some of you. I also hope to return the favor in the future. :eek:ccasion5:

Day 2: I am thankful for my partner, that we have been through the fire together and come out stronger for it, that we have discovered our own way to be happy together.

Day 2 I'm thankful for my boyfriend Zane. I don't know what I'd do without his support. We've been together since Feb 21, 2006, and though we've had our bumps in the road; no one understands me better. :love3:

Day 3: College football on fall Saturdays

Day 3: Thankful that if I'm sick, (like today) I can just not show up for work, and not expect to get written up or fired.

Today, I am very thankful for having a home, electricity, and means of communication with the outside world (phone, internet, etc.)

I'm in the transportation industry and just got home after volunteering for three days with the Red Cross, to help those affected by Sandy. While shuttling trailers of relief supplies to a staging point, I was able to talk to several truck drivers on the CB, who came out of NY, NJ, and PA. The devastation they described was hard to fathom.

I was grateful to have what I call a "head slap" moment on Thursday. Call it divine intervention, a reminder from a guardian angel, whatever you believe in. I was getting grumpy after 3 days of eating cold cut sandwhiches that I'd brought along, resorting to "hobo baths" (using wet wipes to bathe) and sleeping in something smaller than a bedroom closet. Then...it happened. I remember thinking..."Dude! You didn't lose your home! You have gotten to eat something, you've slept in a bed even though it's not your own, and you've technically had a roof over your head! There's thousands of people who can't say the same, right now! Quit your bitchin!"

So I guess you could say that I'm thankful for guardian angels and reality checks, as well! I'm not trying to preach, but don't take anything you have, for granted!!

Today I'm thankful that my large dogs make giant poops so I can leave them on my neighbors porch later. :) Payback is stinky and somewhat runny today.

Day 3- I'm thankful for my biological family, who gave me the faith in both God and the human race, faith which helped me survive foster care with my sanity mostly intact.

Day 4: Electric smokers. Which allows to me enjoy all the smoky goodness without having to babysit a firebox on a traditional smoker. While BBQ afficionados may frown upon this, my results speak for themselves. Had some decadent pulled pork today.
