Hello everyone, this is my first post here and my question is aimed at the models.

Very briefly about myself. I am a user at CB and SC. I support a model on both sides. Recently, the model was banned on CB for 7 days for allegedly using attracting bots in her room. Unfortunately, she couldn't give me an answer to my question about what attractive bots were. She claims that she has never heard of it either (she has been streaming since August 2024). I then wrote to CB support and asked for a brief explanation about these bots. Unfortunately, after 4 days I still have no answer. The model has not yet received a response to her support request. Above all, in the days before this ban there were only 300 - 600 users in their room. It's all pretty inexplicable for both of us.

Here is my question for you: What are attracting bots and how can you locate them? Maybe someone can give me a plausible answer since CB support is not responding.

Thanks in advance

Basically she is being accused of buying "illegal" traffic.

As you are not a broadcaster, CB will not discuss this with you.

Thank you for your reply @Vixxen81. Can you maybe explain to me how to do that? Sorry that I'm totally clueless. So are there explicit bots for this? Or how should I imagine it? Or does it have something to do with the fact that I promote the room 2 or 3 times on CB so that it gets on page 1?

That's not what the message says....unless they changed it recently and that doesn't make sense cause saying attracting bots makes no sense.....also...are you saying CB said it would last 7 days?

That was her answer to me when I asked the model what this bot is. ("they wrote that for attracting bots to my room, but I never did it, on the contrary, my room has had low online lately")

A user can never be punished for using a service provided by CB, unless they are using it incorrectly. You can promote a room as many times as you have the tokens to pay for it.

Someone, somewhere has sent a bunch of bot traffic to her room and she got flagged for artificial room enhancement.

How that works exactly is above my pay grade because I have never bought or tried to source traffic even though there are many agencies offering this to models.

...sounds like she's using one of those translators built into the keyboard that does word for word translation without context.

You said she hadn't received a response from support so I'm really confused here. CB is not known to send an email on a ban and say it's going to last 7 days. Stripchat will do that.

Anyway nothing you can do about this situation. I think vixxen is probably right that it's related to fake traffic bots.

@Vixxen81,

thank you very much for your answer again!

that would be one approach. Maybe she can do something with it to monitor her users for suspicious things.

also to you, thank you again for your answer!

It's pretty sure she's using a translation program. She barely speaks English, actually.

The model wrote to me that the 7 day thing and the using "attracting" bots was the reason for her temporary ban. She has not received an answer to her inquiries to support (I have absolutely no idea how it works with room bans on CB). The only thing I know is that I can still join her room (the room is just shown as offline).

I think I should contact her again about that issue.

If she was banned you wouldn't be able to visit the room.
Now, do I understand correctly that there are no different forms of „bans“ in CB? So can’t it be possible for a model to temporarily NOT have access to her account BUT the account is still shown to me as offline?

Please excuse my further questions but I’m completely lost at the moment. 😬

If she is banned, when you go to her room (even in your favourites) it says something like "Access to this room is denied. This room has been banned."

So if you can see her room just showing as offline, then she is not banned by Chaturbate. There's a lot to unpack in your posts here. It could be bad translation, a lack of understanding on her part as to what is going on, or (to throw a left field suggestion in here) she works for a studio and they are bullshitting her with that story for whatever reason.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the latter explanation is closer to the truth.

Thanks for your answer!

I generally don’t rule out the idea of a studio, even though she assures me that it‘s not a studio. BUT then why is she online at SC? Yesterday we were able to communicate normally via SC. It makes no sense to me that she doesn’t check her access status with CB as well.

I think I can tell from your answers that it’s not because of any suspension or warning from CB. So there must be some other reason that I don’t know.

Thank you again for your replyies.

Well first of all, CB and SC are two separate sites. Being banned from one does not necessarily mean you are banned from the other.

I'm guessing she's in Colombia and if so, the likelihood of it being a studio is higher. I hate to break this news to you, but either she or the studio could just have decided she's not going to broadcast on CB any more, and she's lying to you. That seems a likely scenario.

Yep, I know that this are different sites but she always uses them in parallel (like many other models).

No, she doesn’t come from Latin America, she is European. So I think now that she herself has decided not to broadcast on CB for a few days which at the same time means that she voluntarily gives up her main source of income. I don’t have to understand that.

Actually there is a broadcast suspension so maybe that's what's happening, how did she get the information about the bots? Did a message show up on the actual website or was it in an email?

Yes, you are right! I contacted the model again and she sent me a screenshot. "Broadcast Suspended" is the headline. It shows up on her website.

I could post the model's requests online here to show that support doesn't really respond to the model's requests. I don't think it would help either. In any case, I believe she didn't lie to me and CB's support isn't doing a good job.

I would like to thank everyone for their answers to my questions and hope that CB Support will give her a specific answer to the accusation made.

If they've told her multiple times not to do it and she's still doing it then I wouldn't expect she'll be around on CB much longer. It will catch up with her eventually.

Oh ok now that makes more sense, so they sent several site warnings about it and it continued so now they resorted to a broadcast suspension. If the model truly doesn't know what's going on my advice would be that she should start tracking users in her room with colored names. Usually light blue names that never tip (can always export tip history to check), probably have very few followers, show up daily usually around the same time as the others (not necessary all at once)

Once the model has an idea of what names the bots might be start PMing and if they don't respond in 10 minutes consider banning. Password shows are another option, verbally saying "I'm starting a password show the password is pineapple" anyone entering that show quickly can be crossed off the list.

Edit: I forgot to mention something important, it's likely that with each notice all the bots accounts were banned so this would likely be a fresh set of bot accounts if they return.

Please tell me what you see on screenshot. Why don't they answer her? I can tell you because they themselves realize that there is something wrong with the accusations. But let's leave it now. It can be closed now.

Thanks for the first really useful answer. You are really great.!

It's useless. I wrote to them about this on my own, they told me that they had not noticed any suspicious activity in my room. I was banned by the system, not the moderator of the site, but the problem is that support has not responded for 5 days. And the most important question is, if other models or users do this, how can I influence it? It's a very dumb system

I added an important edit I want to make sure you didn't miss:

Why can't CB do anything about it? This deprives the model of its existence and is not even responsible for the process. It is incomprehensible to me.

Tank you Thank you Thank you!

Now, Instead of streaming, she now has to monitor users and ban them. What a joke, right? CB enjoys watching it and also earns money. Doesn't matter.

They are doing something about it, the problem is whoever is doing it is willing to keep spending the money to bring them back so they suspect either the model or studio at least knows the person.

The cbhours eyecontact tool has a timestamp feature if you want to see if a bunch of names are entering at the same exact time but they don't necessarily have to enter at the same time.

Thanks for the tip... I personally only use cbhours to see how long the model has been online. I need to take a closer look at this function. 💋

You shouldnt be giving out advice in an area that you dont understand at all...
Who is giving out advice? I'm not advising anyone to do anything. I'm telling you what is likely to happen if that's what Chaturbate suspect is going on. Whether or not she is responsible for doing it is another matter. Chaturbate clearly suspect something and will act based on their suspicions. Wind your neck in. All I said was what they literally said themselves in the email.
