webcam software?

Hey everyone,
I have a Logitech C920, and a pretty awesome Asus Laptop I got a year ago.
I tried to download the Logitech Webcam Software from their website to be able to control brightness and contrast settings because that is all I need, however it won't work, won't open up after I download and install it.

I tried manycams to see if it has any beauty filters like settings, but it doesn't.

All I am looking for is a nice bright filter sort of like instagram style for when I cam, or something that will at least allow me to control brightness settings etc.

Any other recommendations? Asides from lighting (I am specifically looking for settings kind stuff)

it just doesn't work yeah
after a lot of research and googling, i found this:

seems like a windows 10 issue. I'll try that update and see if it helps. I'll update the thread accordingly in case anyone encounters the issue in the future!
