I'm glad he admitted it was such a small sample size. Because 300 people doesn't make for definitive results in a study. I think he didn't account for a few other factors though. Were all the women wearing proper fitting bras prior to the study? Couldn't that account for some participants saying how much better they feel without a bra? How long did the bra-less women go without?
I'd also think that sagging is a combination of bigger factors than if you wear a bra or not. Age, genetics, size, nursing, etc. That being said, I'm a 32DDD and my breasts are fairly perky for their size. I find much more relief from back pain/rib cage pain when I wear a bra. That's why I wear them. Because having 5-6 lbs of flesh bouncing against your chest all the time can really fucking hurt after a while. In fact, I've been sitting here in a tank top all day being lazy, and my back is just starting to get that ache.
It took me a few minutes to realize why I dislike this study. It's fucking stupid. I mean, there's studies out daily that always point to some innocuous little thing that will give you cancer, increase your cellulite, give you Alzheimer's, etc. And now we get an "oh noes! SAGGING!?!!" study that's poorly thought out and implemented, and it's really more than anything just to make a headline so you'll read the article.
I'm all for research, but this comes across more as a combination of body-shaming and fear mongering. :twocents-02cents:
