Waxed, Shaven, Bald or Natural - What Do You Prefer?

Waxed, shaven and bald eagle seem kind of redundant, especially since the method of hair removal probably doesn't matter as much as the end result? I'm guessing?

Would replacing waxed and shaven with 'patch' and 'landing strip' make more sense? Waxing and shaving can end in many different results.

I wonder how much of this is just looks and how much is cultural? For example, I've grown up with porn where you almost never see a woman with pubes. I know most men I knew growing up as a teenager found pubes gross/disgusting.

On a man though. I like them to be natural. Possibly trimmed/neatened if they're quite hairy, but definitely not shaven.

Many dudes are under the impression being shaved down there makes them look bigger. I think the opposite. To me it makes them look either like they have cancer or they have some other problem that makes their hair fall out. It also makes them look older and uglier as it shows all the lovely wrinkles in balls. Maybe other girls like it, but to me it's seriously unattractive. Oh, and it rubs uncomfortably against me if they don't keep up with it every few days seeing as I do shave or wax and that area is especially sensitive to stubble rub.

Also a big reason, I don't know if many guys think of this, or even if many girls have come across this, but if a dude has pubes, if the girl is on top and in a certain position they cause friction against her clit. For me this is enough to make me orgasm during sex. If a guy trims them down then it won't have the same effect.

And on top of all that, though I like a guy to be hygienic and take care of himself, I find excessive vanity and self grooming unattractive. I know a lot of dudes find it attractive to see girls posing around pouting, obviously having put in a ton of effort, but there's a reason you rarely see men doing this outside selfies and gay magazines. Men and women definitely find very different things attractive, and that's to do with gender, not sexuality. So dudes, when in doubt, maybe think "would I like a girl to do this?" if the answer is "yes!" then maybe rethink your choice and get a second opinion

whatever is fashionable/prevalent in the wank material of the day is probably what you'll grow up to prefer.

if you notice, neat trim is starting to make a comeback in more of the recent porn as opposed to the majority of women being bald in porn just a few years ago

I like a landing strip (or other design) on myself and others, but I'm often lazy and just shave the whole thing off, because keeping it neat is tough! I'm fine with anything (with full bush probably being my least preferred), though. There are far more important factors in whether I want to sleep with someone than their pubes.

I went with all natural, and "bushy up top/bald labia". I don't think it's entirely generational, otherwise pubic hair styling would never really change -- honestly, I believe marketing and social pressure plays a much larger role. The waxing/bald trend as it is today didn't really take root (hehe) until the mid- to late-90s when a number of prominent actresses and shows brought it up -- then the marketing started, and so followed porn. With me, I just like a little decoration and something else to play with down there.

As a guy, I've run the entire gamut on my pubic hair. Left to my own ends, I usually just keep a super-close trim -- just long enough to not be prickly, short enough to never get in the way. I'm prone to razor burn and ingrown hairs, and tweezing/using my electric depilator regularly is a major PITA. I've experimented with styling and shaping before, but never found anything that really works with a cock. Usually, with a partner I leave it up to them -- I've had partners insist I go au naturale, others insist I go completely bald.

I generally keep mine hairy up top with a bald undercarriage. Letting my lady garden go completely wild isn't my thing-- it's too hard to keep clean and tidy. I've found that unless I'm doing a super up close shot that stubble rarely shows up on cam. I don't have super thick or super dark hair, though.
