For anyone who hasn't heard the term, some guy decided to test Amazon's (marketing) promise of "unlimited cloud server space" by downloading every public cam of as many camsites as possible and save it there. As a result Amazon ended the unlimited space offer. Congrats to that *facepalm* What a stupid point to make.

@Lelo1 Thanks for your good metaphor. I like it. But it must be added. Those dude saves the platters in his large fridge and service for anybody while a restaurants is closed. And after all the dude offer to owner to share his incoms upto 80%. We all understand that there is a great difference between a live show and recorded videos! As in the methaphor - between Fresh and Frozen food! Webcamming is about alive interaction rather then just viewing.

One more, I don't like what CSH does and I'd prefer it to be shutdowned someday. But before this Day we need control for models on their recorded content. And sure no free access to it!

MFC ought to stop its pointless IPs blocking and get access to CSH content to let models to remove it if they wamt. And after it we might wait for an implementation of article 17 of the copyright directive!

So somebody breaks into my house and steals my laptop. They sell it and if I manage to figure out who stole it (your site isn’t that large many people have never ever heard of you and you take their things) I should be happy they give me a portion of the revenue? And I should be grateful because if I caught them soon enough they would have given it back to me....

Many clips come from recorded live videos. It doesn’t matter if it’s live or not you are stealing materials from models, and they should get all the benefits of it. Not a percentage from a thief.

Good for MFC for pissing you off so much. Their tactics must be working very well for the fit you’re throwing over unjustifiable behavior. No matter how you phrase it, it’s stolen material.

Guys... he didn’t make this thread to convince anyone that he is the victim and MFC the wrongdoers... he is using this thread to position his sites name or acronym in Google to get a better Google Rank and because if someone googled it they would end up here where everyone is saying just how hard to remove content is from his site, how face recognition works, etc. Piracy site users like it when the admin of the site the use is considered a terrorist by models. Why would a webcam site ask have to cooperate with CSH for them to pay me the licence fee's they already owe from stolen shows? My resale licencing has nothing to do with the cam sites I work on, All they would need to do to resell my shows correctly is email me with a request, sign the licence agreement and make a payment for every show they want to resell, it has nothing to do with any 3rd party.

I guess CSH won't to indentify models and keep money transfer details if cam sites have it all yet. But I'm not interested in this theme at all.

The model 101 say's nothing like that.... It says what a DMCA is, it says that some cam sites offer DMCA services...... It dosnt say they will remove content when they receive DMCA's and it dosnt say they do not ask for ID's. You have to make an account to even be able to view the removal instructions, and the csh twitter had said in a thread a few months ago that they will request ID's to remove videos and if they recieve DMCA notices they will not delete any of the videos.

If it was true that sites can just DMCA to have content removed then why would they be getting so butt hurt over MFC putting in preventative measures to stop them accessing the site? Sending DMCA's for every model of every show wastes everyone's time.

@punkerbarbie would there be a way to send a mass take down notice for all content that was stolen from chaturbate?

I haven't my personal experience with CB. For Bonga it takes one week after one letter to the Bonga model support. And all vids were deleted from CSH. I don't kmow what Bonga Team did for it. But it is very convenient for ex-models and free.

Again they stopped free downloading for MFC vids. As I can see now they plan instead of to penalty MFC models just to stimulate them to abandon that site giving the ex-models ability to control their vids.

Very bad news indeed but It is their business, they earn money. Who may stop them? Their goal is to record all and control this specific market. Last months they made great improvements of the CSH site interface.

Today;'s information on CSH site:

Starting today (as of writing): The (for the lack of a better word) ceasefire with mfc starts today.
Depending on how that goes, free downloads stay disabled, ownership are enabled, and the face search put offline.
However the face search will come back in the next days, though without an upload function)

So active models can (and have to) use the ownership system. Every not active model can contact mfc to have their videos removed (so it's the same as with every other cam site).

Dear Mara_Jayne. Tell for yourself and instead of to spend your time giving me shady advices about my hobbies - go and register your ownership on CSH. It might be very simple if you have control on your MFC Profile. And then try to remove your vids from CSH and tell us about your experience - it might be very interesting really.
Unfortunately it is impossible for ex-models and your loving MFC support does nothing to help them although MFC has now all tech instruments for it.
MFC did foul up their IP blocking war just as I had predicted. We all have to coexist together with CSH indefinitely. New European Copyright Directive will give nothing against CSH hosting provider!!!

Do not be silly - use all possibilities to protect your business. MFC won't help you!
