Why hasn't MFC come up with a way for Models to host their videos on their profiles or in their accounts, so a member of MFC can tip for a video and be sent the video directly from MFC and watch it ON MFC?

Much like My Girl Fund...I think this would be an excellent idea for them to do this, this way we won't have to host them somewhere else or send them to other websites to access our videos.

Has any of the more popular models ever tried to suggest this to MFC?

Besides that, the MFC servers already can't handle whatever that is turning the HD and normal cam feeds into a "pretty sound chopping laggy jumpy slideshow", adding something like this will probably melt them away.

This seems like a valid point.

My primary thought on this is how their gallery password "system" makes me not want mfc to be in charge of that stuff.

Yeah, MFC has been FUCKED lately. And don't even get me started on the bandwidth that all of the members are using.

I've been using MediaFire to store videos.

My video feed is actually really good now that I am on HD. I don't have the spasm thing happening.

What makes me angry is that there are so many members running their cams that have better feeds than I had before HD. I have the second highest internet package, the one up is business class, and I have a c910 webcam!

Then there are the models that are literally on cam 24 hours a day, even though they are sleeping or not even on cam at all. Those should be feeds that are cut permanently.

Also, I never realized that ALL of the chatlogs are saved! I have a SHITLOAD of chatlogs! I had no clue that after a couple of month they didn't drop off. That's taking up a ridiculous amount of space!

The locked galleries are shit too. No one has ever asked me how much they can pay to look at them. Even at 30 tokens a piece no one wanted them! Unless you raffle them off or have another girl in them, people don't seem to care about them. Also, the one by motherfucking one upload thing is awful. Do zipped files work in the uploader?

MFC's gallery system is indeed shit. I stopped buying picture sets unless they come in a zip file.

It's not really that much space. If every chat message was 500 characters (3 times as long as the max twitter message), and you had 5000 messages an hour, for 4 hours a day, every day of the year, you would only fill about 3.5 gigabytes of disk space. That's about the same as two HD movies. I'd hazard a guess that not even the highest traffic rooms approach that much. You could store all the chat logs for 1000 models on a couple 2 terabyte drives, which run about $100 these days. That's without considering compression.

But it makes me wonder if you'd have those guys sitting there spending their tokens to jerk off on cam, and not tipping the model because they're spending tokens on opening their camera up.

See, that would be a good idea, or if the model was viewing the member cam, tokens would go to her, it would be incentive for models to open up member cams, but I avoid them like plague for the most part.

What about- members can't open up their cams unless they have tipped for it (which goes to the model of their choice) or they're currently in private? And only the people they've paid for can look.

It seems like you can spend lots of time uploading awesome photos to locked galleries and promote them in your room topic, but there's very little interest in tipping for them. I noticed that guys would rather tip for topless or naked pictures SENT TO THEIR E-MAIL DIRECTLY, and they'd rather tip for videos.

Yeah, I don't understand that either. Maybe because I love pictures of almost any kind. lol You could have a "secret gallery" containing nothing but photos of cockroaches you encountered on your Hawaiian vacation and I'd probably pay to take a look. lol I'm a dork.
