What is everyone doing for valentines day? I'm not a huge fan of v-day. I believe its another holiday for hallmark to make more money. But thats just me. What about you??

Absolutely nothing. Nothing in real life and nothing on MFC.

Something about being romantic on a day that you are forced to be romantic seems to defeat the point to me. But thats simply because I feel the best kind of romance is the spontaneous kind, on a april 27th or some shit.
But seeing as I don't have to worry about being romantic anyway, just go about my day like any other- work, gym, perv. HOWEVER, February 15th, when valentines day candy goes on clearance- that is when I strike!

Meh, the holiday is not the problem. If people who are romantically involved show each other little signs of affection throughout the year, as if, you know, they really care about each other, then doing it one more time on the 14 of February with little pink and red hearts won't be too much of a big deal. If they don't, and need to be reminded to one day out of the year, then they have to ask each other why they are still together.

If I had a girlfriend or wife, we would do the complete opposite of what you're supposed to on that day. We'd talk so much shit to each other that by dinner time, we'd hate each other so much that we're threatening to break up!

Valentines day, meh. If I love someone I show them everyday not just the 14th of Feb.

I will be sending my daughter a dozen roses and making my family a good dinner. much past that it will be the same as always

So I decided I wouldn't post till after Valentine's Day so as to not be all Eeyore style up on this thread before the day had even arrived. Yeah... I've always been single for Valentine's Day so it's never been great but this was the worst one yet. Anyone who knows the major event that has happened recently in my life could probably draw a good conclusion as to what I spent yesterday doing. Luckily when I got home, I was able to enjoy some AmberCutie and CandieCane before bed which made the day as a whole not quite so bad.
So, while some of us didn't have a special date for Valentine's, we did get a special evening with AlexLady. One moment in particular really demands sharing, and a brief explanation.
Special prizes, written down and hidden in balloons, were slowly given out through the evening. Some sexy, some fun, some raffle tickets, and well, this....
