This assumes that there isn't a cap or that camscore isn't adjusted based on current volume.

This is the assumption.
Say if a model makes 1000 tokens, camscore goes up by 1.
Now if two models make 2000 each, camscore goes up by 2.
Then is one model makes 2000 and one makes 1000, camscore goes up by 2 and 1 respectively.

However, if we adjust based on volume,
1 models makes 1000 tokens, camscore goes up by 1.
2 models make 1000 tokens, camscore goes up by 1.
2 models make 2000 tokens, due to increased volume of tokens (and an increased earning expectation), camscore increases by 1.
3 models make 2000 tokens and 1 model makes 1000 tokens. The first three increase by 1 while the fourth may stay the same or decrease.

Another example:
there are 1000 models.
The maximum camscore in a one model site would be 1,000,000
With 1,000 models, the cap with an even distribution would be 1000 (starting value)
To keep this camscore the model must meet a quota of .1% of the tokens earned on the site.
If 1,000,000 tokens are made on the site, each model must earn 1,000 tokens.
If a model makes 2,000 tokens (and earning double her share) she will gain 1,000 camscore.
If a model makes 900 tokens she will lose 100 camscore.
Now if 2,000,000 tokens are made (keeping 1,000 models) 2,000 tokens will result in a 0 camscore gain.

Either or both of these systems may be in place and they may be used with a sampling of certain models. Models may be sorted into classes (i.e. top 10%, etc.) and samplings used from those to judge camscore based on them. Or a single sample (middle 20%) may be used to create a single baseline.
Of course more than just tokens are involved creating a deeper, more complex system that is harder to judge. However either of these systems would explain more and more tokens being needed for models to make it to the top.

When I first signed up for MFC I used to worry constantly about what others were doing, then one day about a month and half ago I just decided to do my own thing and focus on my own work. So I must have either been MIA or I ignored this when it was posted. Since it has been necro'd anyhow at this point, I want to point out I find it really funny that their argument centers around the idea of money made being some sort of linear relationship with cam score and yet at the very start of the video they had claimed many factors affecting cam score such as TIME ONLINE. The only question is whether their intent was to imply an inverse relationship or not between time online and cam score. I personally have always heard time explained as tokens per time period which does INDEED imply an inverse relationship between time and cam score. That in and of itself completely blows the model for their conspiracy theory out of the water.

tl;dr Mentioned time as a factor which kills the model upon which their rant is made. GEE FUCKING GEE.

2) Camscore matters because you may get regulars, but everyone moves on. Camscore helps get fresh ones simple due to traffic.
