I just got bored and googled for a typing test. Found a site which tests just using random words. So there's not punctuation or capitalization, just straight typing. It will also let you backspace to correct letters, but it still counts those. It also does a standard 5 characters equals a word so it doesn't matter if you skip over the longer words. http://10fastfingers.com/typing-test/english

This is the fastest I've ever done. Rather happy at the moment. :-D

I'm actually quite ecstatic about this. I use to only be 35wpm in my college typing course i took 20 years ago.

I just took that test again. My times and numbers were embarrassing and much lower than the last time I took it. Ahhhhhh.. Oh well I am not good at typing other peoples words or typing in chat for that matter. I am better at Copy n' pasta. As a matter of fact I specialize in pasta. ;-D

I have to say I did go back with the backspace to correct indian to Indian and dont to don't, so that I wouldn't have any wrong words. It's mind-boggling to me that I was still so fast altogether. :?
