Dick rating topics have popped up in several threads throughout the years, and might as well create a thread on this topic. Recently we derailed the annoying model thread with our thoughts on the subject, but not to derail any further because we want to talk about penises. Curious about getting members' perspectives as well.

I personally don't like doing them. I think it can contribute to toxic masculinity, but at the same time, I see how much people like them. It's a conundrum though because I don't want to cause any hurt feels. I have had members go off the rails if I tell them something about their penis that makes them self-conscious. I always try to ask what type of rating they want- be honest, or what they want to hear. I'm super sad and tired of having men with perfectly normal-looking penises ask me if they are good enough.

The way I see it, the only people who ask for ratings are:

• Uneasy about their dick size, but kinda think they're OK size, and need reassurance

Yup, pretty much. I dislike them. A lot. It gave me anxiety the one time I did it and the result was an astounding meh. You can google statistically average penis and find like a billion results that look just like mine. I tend to avoid wheels/games where dick ratings are "prizes".

Definitely, if consent hasn't been established first. The sheer vast numbers of unsolicited dick pics that are sent, in general, are an issue. I would imagine the non-consent part in and of itself gets some of them off. Like the typical guy in the park w a trench coat type image that comes to mind.

Tongue ratings are not a thing, why? Seems like those would make a lot more sense.

They've implemented a feature on SM where images come in blurred. So now they can't do that anymore, which is great. So ew to get unasked for dick pics in the inbox, at random times. But also ew to get unasked for face pics, asking for dinner dates, meet-ups etc. Which also happens. Now we never have to see any of it, unless we actually want to these days.

I will admit, I was the first one for my whole life until my ex convinced me to measure it.
A fact is, from a birdseye view, the penis to the guy looks smaller than it is, so it gives that impression of being tiny. So my whole life I thought I was well below average, so reluctantly I did measure (I had never ever been tempted to before she asked) mine, and to be honest, I am glad I did because it is normal/average. But I don't care or need everyone else to give reassurance for this.

I think also what has helped me is the fact I do listen to ladies (on the sites, on here, etc) about you not giving a shit about huge ones. So for a while now, I have been perfectly fine, happy, etc

totes. i kinda look at it how i was with my boobs. when i was in my teens and early 20's lots of people in my life were constantly bringing up or tease that i have a flat chest. it fucked with me so bad. super self-conscious. any person i was with sexually i had to know their thoughts on them for reassurance that they like them. i mentioned to an ex im glad he likes my boobs after he said he liked them. he replied "meh, i do wish they were bigger. like your best friend's d cups." thanks 20-year-old man. therapy helped me learn to be more confident and accepting of my body and to tune out the nobodies who want to inappropriately comment on my chest size.

you see men with uncircumcised penises ask if we like or our thoughts on it. even want to be shamed for not getting snipped. when in reality, uncircumcised penises are what penises should look like. most western societies have been conditioned to circumcise at birth for some outdated reasons. I personally don’t mind dick ratings. I even created a dick rating dry erase board with different categories and notes. They can pay an extra for me to send them a pic of their overall rating.

I think when someone asks for a dick rating, they’re opening up themselves that models honesty. I am not one to stroke egos and am brutally honest, so I ask in advance prior to the show if that’s what they really want. I am never cruel or degrading about my ratings though. I don’t like how that effects their mental health. Weirdly enough many of my dick rating sessions have turned into sex education or sex tips.

That said though, I find a lot of guys that do dick ratings are looking for a few things:

• Validation
• Humiliation (SPH, cuckolding, etc.)
• Ego boost
• Curiosity of several woman think of their dick etc.

I find a lot of humor in it when guys who have big dicks think it’s god’s greatest gift to me. There is such a thing as too big for me. So I take that opportunity to humble them. Bigger isn’t better.

First off all THANK YOU for this thread, this is a subject I think about a lot!

I find dick rates frustrating. Everything I'm about to say here is based on my own personal experience and hopefully does not apply to everyone.

I always ask them to specify if they want honest, gentle, or brutal review. If they say honest (almost all do) I tell them they can't get mad if they don't like what I have to say. Even though I make efforts not to be mean (unless asked) most will leave. If I want the show to keep going, I'm put in a position where I can't be completely honest.

Its unfair to ask someone with a vested ($) interest in not disappointing to give "honest" feedback. If you want me to praise your dick and tell you it looks great, then SAY THAT. Maybe it ruins the fantasy if I'm "in" on it, so they have to keep asking models to be "honest" until they find one who will give a 5/5.

If they are self conscious about how their dick looks, it seems unhealthy to ask someone to either a) pick it apart or b) flatter dishonestly. In that case, maybe a qualified mental health professional should be consulted to reach a place where penis shape/size isn't so crucial. Totally agree with what others have said RE penis obsession and men's self esteem. For example, I have a slight preference for uncut. I don't say that during the "honest" dick review in case dude has a circumcision complex and it messes him up to hear that.

I don't fit any of those. I'm pretty sure I'm average and I like my dick. It's nothing special. The only thing that's special about it is that its mine. I have zero interest in showing my dick to someone who isn't interested in seeing it either. I'm most definitely not looking to be humiliated. The funniest and best rating I ever got was, "if you looked up the word penis in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of yours" or something like that. I don’t charge anything upfront. But I’ve managed to turn what was a 2 min dick rating into 10+ min on c2c in exclusive only to make it worthwhile. I don’t particularly care for pics, and if they prefer pics then I ask that send me several different angels and a nut shot too.

I ask them to give me certain angles, upclose, side view, etc. I also rate on lot of categories that even include cum shot. After it’s all said, I add up the score on my whiteboard and offer to send them a pic of their “report card” for an additional 10 gold and it’s been good so far.
