New series has been decidedly underwhelming. First episode was fine if unspectacular, but the second episode was the worst to date by a looooooong way. I'm hoping it'll finish strong with the final episode but my enthusiasm has been dampened. I'm beginning to think they should have left it alone after the end of the second series

But then again...

Last episode was awesome and the first episode of the new series to touch the greatness of the best episodes of the first two series.

And the cliffhanger(ish) ending has me looking forward to inevitable fourth series.

I have only seen season one and season two.
I love this spin on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories.
And I think that Benedict Cumberbatch is genius in playing Sherlock. :thumbleft:
