Tech Question about removing “Virtual camera OBS” from browser

Hi everyone
a couple of months since i made the application, I’ve only just got verified on streammate. However, when i go to stream, my chrome browser uses “virtual camera obs” as default even though OBS is shut down

this results in just a blank screen and the the webcam not even being switched on (because even the light doesn’t come on)

any ideas on how to resolve this without having to uninstall chrome?

do you not have this option in SM connect? (also, ensure that when you close OBS it isn't still running in the background/tray)

The walkthrough in the support pages is surprisingly thorough I highly recommend combing over it in detail before you start streaming.
