Six out of context quotes isn't the best evidence to substantiate your opinion that Scalia is "bashit insane."
Well, Scalia believes fervently in God, the Devil, heaven and hell. To me, anyone who seriously believes in fairy tale creatures and makes real decisions based on the fictional words of these fairy tale creatures has to be at least a little batshit.
But hyperbole about his sanity aside, Scalia is on the wrong side of just about every important issue of the day...gay marriage, healthcare, Citizens United, Guantanamo Bay. His America would have made almost no social progress in the last 10 years. History will not be kind to his memory.
Plus, as a person, the guy is an industrial-sized asshole.
