There are many reasons why a lady would choose to start a gold show well under the stated goal. For example, you will notice that some women have "this is what you're going to see, and here is a little something extra if we reach the entire goal," set the countdown at like $300 and start if they reach $200, and $200 is their actual goal - but some members may be so inspired to see a little something extra that they tip all the way to $300, leaving the model with a generous bonus for a slightly modified show.UncleThursday said:And, yes, the model can decide to do the gold show even if the goal isn't reached. But I would assume most of them wouldn't do it unless their goal was at least 75% reached or greater, depending on the asking price.
I am not sure with how much the ladies would be happy with me sharing, but there has been some discussion on the strategy of starting shows under the set goals.
As far as pricing, I agree that focusing on the total amount a model is going to make is just silly - it doesn't matter that she wants $250 total for a show, because the point is to split that cost between many people. However, depending on the traffic and how many people are contributing towards the show, a high goal may be likely to put me off simply because I don't think the model will ever reach it or reach a percentage she is happy with. That is why you will see members say, "when does the show start?" because even though they know the total countdown is $X, they want to know what the "real" number is where the model will start the show.
