Streamate Technical Difficulties

I'm super sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but I've been trying to figure out what's going on with my Streamate account for like a week and Streamate support and even Google has failed me!

Basically, my audio randomly cut out one night in the middle of streaming. I don't know what happened and its not ny webcam microphone because it works just fine on Chaturbate.

I'm thinking the problem might be Adobe flash maybe? Because when I right click my stream and go to the "Settings" page my audio drop down boxes are blank? Like where "Default" microphone and "Webcam Microphone" should be its just blank and blank?

I could really use some help, I'm usually pretty technically savvy but this has me stumped and it's really hurting my income

I'm going to attach some pics to show what I mean. First one is Streamate, second is Chaturbate.

if theaudio is just cutting out is got to be the flash also did you uninstall and reinstall the microphone/cam?

Are you using the latest version of Adobe Flash?

I don't have any software for my cam it came without a CD so I'm not quite sure how to uninstall and reinstall. I could try unplugging it?

I use Chrome and it says it automatically updates to the newest version. Besides that I also tried installing Adobe separately and disabling the one built into Chrome and that didn't work either.

so its plug and play. unplugging the mic should not hurt. you can clear the temp file in flash.

Okay I'll try doing that soon. Hmmm, okay I see Google has some fairly clear looking instructions on how to do that. Thanks for your advice I hope this works!

Uninstall what? Flash?

I tried clearing the files it didn't work and I unplugged my webcam and plugged it back in and now it won't show my webcam either :/

its a driver issue, since I cant see your computer you are going to been hands on help. or if you are comfortable with it restore it back to a data it last worked, and run all your virus scans.

Hmm, okay. Streamate support finally seems to be trying to help so I'll see what they siggest.

ok up date here what they did to fix it.

Okay, so Streamate support was no help whatsoever. They asked for the specs of my computer, web browser, etc and THEN after I gave them all that info didn't even bother to help me and instead sent me to one of their support pages with how to install an encoder. I told them all the encoders made my desktop run too slow and no answer for weeks.

I finally got another reply a day or so ago with them asking what version of Windows I run??? I had already told them that.

So anyways I went to check to see if it still wouldn't work and thank goodness the options are there now! Now if only Streamates website would recognize I'm streaming with audio. It keeps telling me I'm not even though everyone was able to hear me tonight.

so there software is weird? but as long at it works it all good. if you have a regular you trust have him and him alone tell you if the audio starts cutting out.

To reset the ranking page, all you need to do is stream from a setting you don't normally for 5 min (like if you normally stream from the encoder, stream from the browser), and it will update all your ranking details correctly when you switch back to your normal way of streaming.

Oh my goodness thank you! I just checked them right now and saw they had changed but had no clue why thanks so much for informing me!

Yeah I guess so. I usually can figure out what technical stuff but this was just frustrating. I told adblock not to run on streamate so maybe that was the problem? I still don't know I just hope it doesn't happen again :/
