Hello all, I have some questions about Gold Shows on SM if snyone doesn't mind answering?
- Are they worth it in your opinion?
- What prices and duration is recommended?
-Can I just rock out to a song I like and get naked as a Gold Show?!
-Can I actually describe the Gold Show as me rocking out to music/a particular song....or keep it generic 'Me rocking out and stripping to music'?
- Is music allowed to be played during a Gold Show?

I have been avoiding Gold Shows as I don't like the idea of waiting or not knowing if I would meet the amount stipulated. I have a friend who loves them however, but she is an absolute bombshell and a very confident woman, and well, I am a more insecure geeky and introverted type! I feel perhaps the 'pressure' of the Gold Show would just not work well with my disposition.
Perhaps I am missing out?
Or maybe I should just leave them be?

i love gold shows. i see them as a great way to get new members into taking you to private who were hesitant on paying for the per-minute rate or regulars who will only join into your goldshows because it's more in their budget. i start all my gold shows, because i've noticed members are more hesitant to join in if they feel like the show isn't going to happen. some of them think they will be charged not knowing that they wont be if the show is a bust. if its slow, i can usually get it between $50-$75. the lowest i've started was around $20. there are times where i play the "oh my god it won't start" and let it auto fail because i knew i could of gotten higher on a second try.
i dont listen to any requests. if a member has a request, they can take me to exclusive instead. sometimes i will tell everyone in my chat to shut the fuck up and let me cum if a lot are being too demandy with their $5 during my goldshow. if a member wants their name moaned, they need to tip like $50 and be the highest. i've noticed it may deter others from tipping in if i'm moaning the highest tipper's name, so I need to make it worth my while.
you can do whatever you want in your goldshow. i set goals. anything under $100 i will tease and use my hitachi. under $200, i will use my small glass toy. make it goal, i'll pull out the works. i'm known for my deepthroat and big booty, so i make my audience work for it if that is what they want to see. will also use a larger toy. i do 7 minutes. because when if i make goal, i'll usually feel rushed if the time is lower. gives me enough time to tease and build up. also less work on your body. you can literally do anything you want in your shows. i've done goldshows where i have the description set "watch me sit pretty and do nothing" for my subby audience. or set it to "whatever the fuck i feel like doing, because this is my show, not yours." yes music is allowed. i always play copyrighted music because if my show gets reposted on a tube site, the music im playing will more than likely get that video dmca'd.
if you are afraid of having guaranteed gold shows, start your shows at $50. that's $17.50 in your pocket. if you charge 4.99 for privates that's what you would get for a 10 minute private. do three $50 in an hour, you'll make over $50. i do $5 buy-ins with a 13-minute counter to get enough people to join in. if people complain about the wait, i tell them its my fetish to make them wait and struggle with that boner.
i'm pretty geeky and awkward, and wouldn't consider myself a bombshell by a mile. but i still can successfully do goldshows. it took a lot of work to figure out what works for me with goldshows, but now, they are my bread n' butter. there are times i've done maybe four goldshows during a shift and make most of my earnings that night.
i dont ever cancel goldshows if someone asks because i could potentially make more in that show than i can with their private. in the past there were too many times where i've canceled a goldshow only for that person who asked me to bounce or only take me for a couple of minutes. kicking myself i could have made more if i stuck to that goldshow, even if it hit less than $50. i think some members enjoy sabotaging and are just trolling.
if you ever see me online and doing a goldshow, watch what i do. i'm not trying to be full of myself, but i like to believe im pretty good at working my chat. been told by other models they've learned a lot by watching me. i dont ever get butthurt if a model does what i do, because i picked up my hustling moves by watching others and reading what they do on forums.
