Well I think that if a camgirl overprices herself and doesn't manage to get privates because of that she will realize it sooner or later anyway. I think it's simply unfair to prevent everyone from deciding what they think they are worth. It's also possible to come to SM from another camsite and not being a newbie at all, but they still won't let you.

Like here I was answering to a camgirl who said she already has experience of more than 1 year on SM, so this reasoning doesn't work. Same thing for me. I was coming from CB, so not a total newbie camgirl.

I also believe strongly that if we are “contractors” not employees than we should be able to run our business as we see fit. This includes how we price our services!

You can't, however unless they've changed it, someone just entering the chat won't see what was typed previously.

I know they share cams on Pornhub aka PornhubLive, so they get additional traffic... but I want to know is it still safe and reliable, and is http://streamaterecruiting.com/ still a valid link to get started with or do i go to https://www.streamatemodels.com/ instead (which is what google brought me to)?

I want to take full advantage of the "new" tag this time around, and won't have to start for at least a week or two, so I plan on trying to stream on MFC and see if I get anywhere with that in the meanwhile. I really thought about Chaturbate, but I don't want to get banned for no reason, which seems to happen to a lot of people. Thank you for your time.

streamate is a good site to cam on with traffic imo. you can sign up under either. your new status begins right when you first hit start, you can set up your profile and wait a week.

Not that they cant, just the option to isn't as appealing since models will no longer be independent contractors, but instead employees who will have to make a decision being full time or part time, along with other stipulations.

I did terrible on MFC, but have always been really pleased with my results on Streamate. In my experience, it can be a bit physically exhausting, at times. However I also notice that when I post more clips on C4S, I get a lot more, less exhausting fetish shows, on SM. When I first started on SM I dealt with a lot of trolls, and people trying to take advantage and cross boundaries, now I rarely deal with that. I am assuming because I have higher per minute prices, and I show the stern side of my personality when I have to, and I am never scared to block people. I really like it there a lot. I like that it is a bit strict. The traffic has always been really great for me. I never do gold shows though, I just do groups and exclusives. For me there always seems to be one guy in every gold show that over talks, and ruins the fun for me, and the other members, by needing constant attention. Plus I found a bunch of gold show recordings, of me, posted on PH. So I am over those... for now.

They payout is what I have a huge problem with! only like 70%... when I make $300, I actually made $1,000 in sales!!!! Makes me sad and want to explore other sites as a "home" ...

Yeah, we're all very aware of the California bill. Audri was asking about the "rejecting new applications" statement you made, which is why she quoted that line specifically. I didn't see anything of the sort in the thread you linked. We already know that California models are going to have to be employed by the company Streamate refers them to, that's common knowledge, but we haven't heard anything about them rejecting new non-California applicants, and it makes no sense for them to do so.

Which he is probably exaggerating anyways...but I could be wrong I wrote it off as a likely Saturday morning bitter grumbly lol. But perhaps it was an attempt at dry humor.

I doubt that they're offering 50% . this 50 is a "at worst" number as one can buy tokens with 39% daily cut off and they have also taxes and salaries to pay...
