I always get the weirdest sense of dissonance when someone says something really stupid and then something else smart right after it. It's like my brain can't figure out how to judge them.

I get that same cognitive dissonance many times when reading many of the controversial, heated or political type posts here. Not just the dumb then smart posts, but the strange or opposing uses of logic. I try to avoid posting and pointing it out to them since they always seem to take it as a personal attack. Sometimes my curiosity is piqued and I can't resist.

Models are an internet fantasy. While we are all gorgeous and amazing, sometimes we don't look just like we do on cam. We may not act the exact same, may not dress the same. Why not just leave it as a fantasy?

I will never understand why someone would waste their time trying to track a model down. What on earth do they think will come of it?

If only these guys were living in a rational world, you'd get your wish. But their fantasy is the unhealthy kind.

I would recommend not replying to any stalker-ish email.

I recently started getting a bunch of spam. And much of it I was able to eliminate by unsubscribing (Linked in , JCPenny what have you), but at some point along the way I hit unsubscribe on the wrong email, and the amount of spam I received doubled because the spammers received the information that I was a real person with a valid email address who was responding... at least I would assume.

There was a ceo who was stalking her board of directors, and one way she did so was to send emails with white pixels hot-linked a web server to the board members. Finding out the ip addresses of the people who downloaded the white pixel gave her an opportunity to learn more about who read the email.

I may be being over-protective of privacy and stage names,, but I would recommend not replying to any stalker-ish email. MFC mail them, and ban 'em , but leave it in the cloud. Don't use your Outlook or iPhone to respond.

I'm not saying some CSI-type hacker is going to break into your iPhone if you reply...far from it, but if it's stalker-ish.... just don't give them anything.

In addition to this, if you use thunderbird, outlook or similar desktop email clients (probably phone ones too), your IP may be embedded in any email you send. I know that if you use gmail, it just traces back to a gmail server.

If your VPN/proxy services allow you to have multiple devices, I recommend adding them to your phone. I haven't had any issues with my data being slower since putting it through the VPN.

This is a reading of a joke review from Amazon, but I suppose it might reflect the narcissistic mindset of your average stalker.
