So reddit banned r/sexsells

This one isn't run by the mods of the original Sexsells so idk who runs it. Just as a heads up.

Apparently reddit also banned NSFWbuys and FetishSelling too earlier this year.

Hopefully this isn't another platform that got "made" by porn and then decides to ban it in favour of going mainstream and banks demanding porn be gone.

The mods of the r/Sexsells are trying to reach reddit apparently about this, but are being ignored so far.

"Former moderator from NSFWbuys and FetishSelling (sister subs to SexSells) chiming in --
Reddit has been banning both sex worker subreddits and their accounts for the past six months in waves. NSFWbuys went down months ago. Our appeal was never answered. We were told it was due to spam posting despite the sub limiting posts to approved (verified) users and keeping on top of the back log. FetishSelling was banned recently as well. Again, our appeal has gone unanswered. Unfortunately, given that, SexSells falling is unsurprising. The mod team is actively working to appeal and intends to raise a shit storm on twitter, but there's no telling how it will go.

In the meantime, the advice mods want passed along is as follows:
(1) r/SexSellss is NOT run by the former SexSells moderation team.
(2) PLEASE be wary of anyone asking for you to verify on another subreddit. There have been instances of buyers and general creeps making fake selling subs to get "verification" info on sellers to blackmail them. While legitimate alternative selling subs run by other sex workers are bound to open up, be very careful in evaluating who you give your info to and what they require.

Hope this gets fixed somewhere soon... I just hope they don't take the "righteous" path and decide to ban porn in the future because this seems to be the case here...

Is it back? I see r/sexsells ads in my Reddit feed today. I think this means they’re unbanned. I hope.
