... and to say I was shocked by how young she looked is an understatement. She barely looked 13. It was disturbing on many levels, among them just how many users were in her room, although perhaps many were, like me, there in disbelief. I sent a pic of her to two model friends and we were all in agreement, and I learned today that the girl's account has already been banned by chaturbate.

My main question is ... what would have been the end game? I can't believe or accept that the girl was just your ordinary pre-teen who heard about earning money as a cam model and somehow got through the verification process. There had to be someone else 'behind the scenes', which evokes very dark things. But you can't really 'cash n grab' on Chaturbate can you? In other words, let's say you wanted to exploit this child for quick money knowing your account would be banned but thinking you could make fast money, but cashing out like that isn't possible on a new account, or on any account. So to reiterate, what would have been the point?

I'm not asking for a blueprint, I'm trying to understand how and why these things might happen.

yes he was extremely young he looked like somewhere between 8 - 10 years old. I was impressed by the amount of perverts telling the boy to get naked, the world is crazy.

because thats what chaturbate does. they ban people all the time who have already verified their profiles for looking young. they come onto the forums all the time in hopes of getting it their accounts back.

I didn't know they were banned. Considering this is Chaturbate I'm sure there were no shortage of people reporting her as being underaged, regardless of her actual age. If she wasn't verified and was broadcasting as an exhibitionist that's a different story then.

There’s even a YouTube tutorial out there on how to implement the babyface filter into OBS—the broadcasting software many people use to stream on Chaturbate.

So, I’m guessing this was someone with a very much legal looking face who wanted to capitalize on what might happen if they used the babyface filter... (which of course should still not be allowed lol.) I’ve attached a before and after of some random adult using the filter that I found on google as an example—the change is super drastic.

It might not have been her doing. A pimp might have been doing it for her. It could have been a human trafficking situation. You would be surprised how many babies are disguised as adults on sites like CB in order to make money for some sick fuck.

I highly doubt someone was forcing her to use a Snapchat filter to make herself look younger.

A very well known model on ManyVids made a video using a filter to make herself look a lot younger and from my understanding it sold super well until MV made her delete it. It sounds like this model did something similar because, unfortunately, there’s guys who eat it up.

I think it’s irresponsible to try to put nefarious meaning to and make up your own details when it comes to situations like this, where the full scope of what is going on is not known to us. Not trying to say that human trafficking doesn’t happen, because obviously it does and it’s a horrible thing. But, trying to paint a situation as if someone is getting trafficked is irresponsible, dangerous and only further demonizes this industry, especially since it sort of seems like it was just someone thinking they could either get away with using one of the “youth” filters or just someone who naturally looks young.

DP, but I wanted to say, same. I started bartending when I was 18 and got constantly asked if I was even old enough to be in a bar.

Also, just look at Pumpkin Spice. When she first started camming she definitely could have passed for 13 or even younger, and she was definitely of legal age.

I don't think people that appear to look underage should even cam... The thought of a sexual predator getting off thinking that a person on cam looks like or is a minor makes my skin crawl. I disagree with this. If someone is of legal age and has supplied the site with the proper identification, then why shouldn't they be allowed to cam? If someone is 20 and looks 16, for example, that's not their fault. It's genetics. Ped*philes looking to consume legal porn are going to imagine younger looking models as being underage whether or not the model is actively trying to look younger, so why should someone who is legally able to cam be punished for the fantasies of others?

I should have made myself more clear. Someone that goes out of their way to look like a child as in someone still in elementary or middle school not a teenager (high school age), which a lot of girls do. I agree with @Marceline and @Brett M about someone simply looking young for their age being allowed on cam so long as they have all the right ID/paperwork registered with the camsites. It's not their fault that people want to think certain thoughts if she's not deliberately dressing up to look much younger. That's the issue I have, and somewhat similar to you. I personally cringe and won't go into a model's room if she looks like she might be under 18, or if the model dresses like that. Just not my thing and I don't want to be associated with it.

I'll second this that having clearly defined ToS violations goes a long way. It doesn't stop people from just clicking "I agree" without reading. But, then it's on them because they never did read the rules. Which, makes me wonder the percentage of people coming here inquiring/complaining about unfairly being banned are guilty of that?
