Hi. I wont go into why i decided to leave my former career,but i did & my first words after that moment we "F**k it I'll do porn. i should tell you now that i have no experience in web cam modeling & rarely watch porn & have very little computer experience oh & I'm a lousy typist LOL . That being said I think it would be fun to Keep track of misconceptions/blunders i have occurred during my journey & hope you will also
1: MOUSE you go to the get all the equipment but i can tell you if you have a mouse its going to sux I of course Found this out the hard way .

However, I will tell you that your ENTIRE first sentence is a huge misconception. You're starting "porn" because you A) had just lost/quit your job, B) were angry/upset/emotion-filled at the time of your decision, and C) you think it's easy and quick money. All of those are terrible reasons to start a career (especially one that has potential to, and often does, ruin social lives). Granted, I personally started because of C. I had watched cam models for a bit, and saw them just sitting there, laughing, and the tokens rolling in. I told my boyfriend, "I can do that! I can just sit there! I'll be the best sitter there ever was! I'm gonna be rich!" But the fact of the matter is that I was horribly mistaken.

Camming is a job. And as such, it is long hours of hard work, patience, and luck that determine whether you'll make any money. I highly suggest that you spend extensive hours watching other models, checking out different sites, and making sure that you have a backup plan. Right now you don't know anything about the camming world. And you are going to rely on this for all of your income. It'd be similar to someone quitting their job to be an insurance salesman, when they've never had experience in sales, don't know anything about insurance, and are completely unaware of the meanings in the insurance jargon. If they expected to make enough money to support themselves without doing the necessary research beforehand, they're going to fall on their faces 9 times out of 10.



RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH. And make sure that you're not going to fuck yourself over if you only make $5 in a week. Then, and only then are you ready to start the path to becoming an awesome cam model.

I, personally, use a wireless mouse and keyboard and they have actually worked exceptionally well for mobility since many times I have to multitask during shows. They DO eat through batteries rapidly, so that is also an investment factor to consider.

I might be alone on this, but I don't think it's weird or rude to think camming is going to be an easy money job. Easy and profitable mean something different to everyone. Can't fault a girl for dreaming. Maybe she'll be one of the girls that money falls from the sky for every time they bat an eyelash. Maybe not. But, I'm lazy as hell and it's not hard for me to make decent money camming on Streamate. If this girl is currently working minimum wage and willing to put all those hours into camming with decent equipment, she could easily x4 or x5 her income. Not saying she will, but as far as jobs with low start up costs and no education necessary go, camming has earning potential.

I don't know what's to be offended about. "Fuck it, I'll do porn" is how a lot of people got into adult performance. That's not to say that not everyone is going to be successful; most are not. But you don't know whether you will be or not until you try, and for most, trying it involves a leap of faith. A "fuck it" moment, if you will.

Well everyone is entitled to ther opinions Bunny grew up without a dad because her father was a violent drunk & she moved constantly to hide from him her step dad was a drunk that drained her moms finances & would sit there while my mother was working 80 hr weeks he would get drunk & tell bunny that she was nothing but a worthless whore but she wasn't she put her self through Emt & paramedic school while working full time as an ems dispatcher she married the only man that never abanded her the only man she ever trusted after & after many years of service was lost my job a week before Christmas with 10 other people bummer right lol after having no childhood & spending long shifts haveing to make the decisions I just want to be a kid & be taken care of my husband is a wonderful man & I am amazing woman I don't need your approval or your respect but your assumptions are dead wrong if you ever took to watch one of my shows you you would have a better idea of who I am a ROLE PLAYER who is over 18 monogamist & has consensual sex with her husband I think your minds go to a bad place when you see my name & it's understandable but you should at least ask before you make assumptions. Im not gonna lie, I still think the name is horribly inappropriate even for a camsite but I just wanted to say good for you. I love stories like this of people who had very tough beginnings but have managed to turn their lives around and what you have managed to achieve is fantastic.

I didn't make any assumptions. I can tell you without needing to assume anything that your name will attract a certain crowd. Even the girls who go for that crowd try to be subtle enough not to alienate the average cam audience. You might have a whole story of whos and whys, but you're surrounded by thousands of other beautiful women trying to get the same money you are. 99.9% of the dudes aren't going to listen to your story. They will just click onto the next.
