When it comes to nude webcam fun I am always on the members side ... Recently girl complained MFC and Jasmin site commission rates are quite bad ... How much these sites take from you for privates?

Would you consider skype as an alternative? If so what sort of payment option good for you?

I'm not sure why anyone would tell you that MFC's commission rates are bad. MFC gives models a nice percentage (models get 50-60% of what guys spend), AND MFC has a lot of traffic. There are other cam sites that only give models 20%, so when you compare that to the 50% - 60% MFC models get, that's a big difference. Percentages shouldn't be your only concern though. Nowadays it seems like everybody and their momma is creating a new cam site, and offering models a high percentage, but a high percentage won't really matter if the sites barely have any traffic.

MFC models earn 60 tokens (60 tokens = $3 in her pocket) per minute in private. If it's true private (a one-on-one show where no one else can spy on it), then the model earns 80 tokens per minute (80 tokens = $4 in her pocket).

I've never cammed on Live Jasmin, but I've read a lot of bad things about LJ, so I'm not gonna recommend that site to anybody.

To answer your question about Skype...the only time I do Skype is when it's guys who paid for it via an independent cam model listing (such as CamModelDirectory.com, which pays models 80%)...or if I happen to be doing a Skype raffle on MFC.

That's actually a great deal for guys, and it leaves you with the same amount of money in your pocket. After all, on MFC, you may be earning $3-$4 a minute, but the guy involved is paying $4.80-$8 a minute, which ranges from just this side of unreasonable all the way to fucking exorbitant. So, I can see where an independent private cam arrangement where you get paid and guys aren't getting robbed by overhead fees would be a really good thing for both parties involved.

Skype is a good alternative as long as both parties are doing the right thing, being respectful of each other. I have had problems where i was too nice and lets just say got carried away. Just be sure that you talk to the model first about Skype time/rate, and that you two both feel comfortable of what is to happen in the show. I have learnt as a model to always be tipped first, this is a hard lesson i have learnt in the past 6 months.

I seem to have the worst luck with getting any private shows on MFC, I make the majority of my earnings from tips on MFC. Just started on Streamate not too long ago, and I get a lot more Privates there, but models on SM only get 35% of what ever the member spends (unless he signs up through the models personal link, then it's 60% I think).
I do offer independent skype shows, with direct payment to my payoneer account. Currently, I offer 10 mins of XXX fun for $35 ($3.50 per min) and 20 mins of XXX fun for $55 ($2.75 per min).
My skype handle is poker.babe. If anyone wants me to add them on skype, lease let me know who you are and where I would know you from so I know that you're not just some random guy wanting me to add them. :-D

However, after a few minutes, the guy probably knows if it's worth a couple dollars' risk, and I'm not interested in sitting there chatting away for free.

I've also considered working MFC and just offering less expensive Skype shows for tokens (in addition to group, private, and true private). I'm really introverted and love doing shows, being sexual, exploring new fantasies, and talking with people one-on-one, but free chat is draining for me.

I'd be very happy to do more Skype shows.

Looking at CMD I don't see anyway to chat with the model or see her live. I don't think a couple minutes talking is unreasonable. I would certainly be hesitant to spend my money based on just a profile if knew nothing else about her. In this specific case (Lori), I know her from her posts here so it wouldn't be an issue. But, someone cold, out of the blue, don't know anything about her other than a profile? That's a hard sell.

One of the selling points of CMD is all models are already cam verified. You HAVE to get cam verified to get a listing on their. Most guys don't have a problem booking without a preview. Most guys that ask you to cam verify are gonna scam anyway. If guys really want a preview most girls charge $5 to turn their cam on and that will get deducted from the total.

I've seen girls offer a $3 or $5 preview in their advertisement. I wasn't turning my camera on, but the the type-chatting got a bit much. I think it's worth it. Just like anything else, it takes considerably more work in the beginning to gain a following and figure out how to weed through the legitimate men from the freeloaders.

I'm keen to get my website started and offer Skype shows from there as well.
