But I think that's pertaining to their models for other parts of the site, such as their porn or erotic photos.

2b. I'm talking to my engineer right now about prioritizing a feature that would update twitter and facebook when you logged on. This is exciting. We had talked about doing this months ago but none of our current girls were interested in it. Awesome! I'll follow up with you when I get an ETA.

2c. Emotes. Are you talking about emoticons? I tend to think that these make the user interface crowded and sloppy looking. I hate the design for MFC. I'll explore how to integrate something like this...but a more attractive version. I don't want to get into a gay panic about it. lol

2d. I am exploring other video functionality options at the moment. I haven't thought of audio yet, since we are usually praised for our sound quality. This is going to be prioritized after the video upload and social networking site pushes.

2e. The token payment page isn't pointing to the correct secure page on this version of the token payment page. I'm totally embarrassed and thankful that you found that. We're fixing that now. It will be fixed by the end of tonight. The join page for memberships is secure.

2f. The token payment link is listed right under the cam video feed in blue. It says "purchase tokens". I'll build in more redundancy for this to make it more obvious.

Just looked in on the site. Video quality needs to improve and giving some options for members to adjust audio quality would be nice. But otherwise, it definitely has potential.

Edit- the fact that it sounds like models are being approved quickly for the site says to me that someone is around keeping an eye on things constantly. That's a good thing, IMO.

So far it seems they work with pros (actual porn stars) & regular cam girls. No studios or studio sign up to my knowledge.

Hmmm... I am quite intrigued by this site... I think I might just sign up and give it a shot... I trust and value AlexLady's opinion, as well as many of the rest of you.

MFC really is my home though, like Amber, it would take a lot to pull me away from there... BUT I have been considering camming elsewhere because I'm tired of having to deal with crashes... And if I can make even more here, why the hell not? 80% is a freakin' sweet number and it's damn well time someone started giving us models the percentage we deserve! I think everyone here should try it out simply based on that fact alone... That truly shows they really are trying to give the models the most they can! Furthermore, Frankie already demonstrated that they are quick to respond to your emails and they even apologize and FIX their mistakes! OH and that email appeared to be in full, grammatically correct sentences.

Why not give it a try everyone? It could go really well.. And if not, we all know MFC will still be around. Also, in terms of models, I think now is the best time to hop on... If we are around right from the beginning we have a much better chance at getting regulars there and being at "the top" so-to-speak.

Yes, traffic is a bit slow, but it's still pretty awesome. I encountered one glitch: A fellow model PMed me and chatted with me a bit. When she left, I closed her PM. The PM stayed on the screen for the rest of the time I was on cam, and didn't leave.

Otherwise, bug-free! :3 I encountered one guy who begged for about ten minutes, but it was very easy to ban him and continue on. Otherwise, I met some pretty cool dudes. c:

From what little I could gather today...there is no spying on privates and there is no viewing of archived private sessions anywhere that I am aware of. They definitely need to make a basic info page of how the site works and what options are available, their future plans, etcetera.

I'm always keen to explore new things especially on the recommendations of people I trust and if it is something that can put more money into the models pockets , even better. So off I went yesterday and and had a look. Only one model, ok I realize that more will come and what an opportunity to be in on the ground floor. I proceeded to sign up but continued to get an error message , required fields must be filled, the only one highlighted was country which stated for us only, so I sent a message to admin (still waiting for a reply, 24hrs). So of I went again this morning to see who was there and the first model I see among 45 odd was AlexLady, cool, I'll have a look and say g'day but clicking on her pic only bought up a profile window. Thinking that I must have to join to see cam I again proceeded to what looked like a new join page which has membership plans and monthly premiums which I see no way around. I HAVE to pay a FEE for the privilege of watching cams and tipping models? Sorry I think not. You might say that ok, you can watch porn between waiting for models to come online but hell, I get plenty free porn from heaps of other sites. No, a monthly membership fee only cuts into what I would generally give to models.
AlexLady, if they ever change that , let me know and I will be glad to have another look, till then however, I'll stick to MFC.

Click that to get to the page for tokens and to choose a screenname, you do get to keep the name after your tokens are gone just like MFC. Also all online models will be above the schedule that the Admin has posted.

It's still not secure.

I feel like a lot of people are missing the "they've only had cams for the last 4 months part" It's going to take them a tiny bit of time before they upgrade every single thing && add features.

Features? Four months is a long time to be in this business and have one model online on a Saturday night. And they've gone without a secure payment page for that long? They've had the website for a lot longer than four months. For all their good intentions, and we've had other people with good intentions touting their new cam sites come through here, I don't think these people are serious about the cams.

Hello folks, Im gonna chime in a bit here. Im a regular on skinvideo, Im not a model but I try to help out where I can. As some girls have said, the cam section is still new although the site itself is well established. The management is super cool, they do really listen and actually take on board feedback. In the 4 months the cams section has been up, Ive seen improvements and I know there is more to come (including an FAQ page for models)! The secuirty of the card page is also being fixed.

With regards being a viewer, you do not have to buy a membership to view the cams. You can pay nothing and view the public shows as an anon, or you can register a username and buy tokens as and when you choose, its a one off payment. If you have tokens, you can spend these as tips or on group/private shows.

To the models who are joining, Id encourage you all to stick with the site. The models who are already established have started building up a core of regulars. Theres a good community feeling to the site, the models get along, trolls arent tolerated and friendliness is encouraged. I think this site is really gonna grow in the next few months, so its worthwhile getting in early!

It's still not secure.

Sevrin, I checked earlier today and it was secure IF you use the purchase tokens link from inside a model's room. I almost missed it too, but the padlock is in the upper right hand corner of the purchase screen. However, the special offer option on the main page is still not secure.
