Should I make a new account?

Hi! First an introduction, hello, hi, I'm Amber (for now), been camming for only a month or so, mostly on adultwork.com, recently started using MFC with little success. I live in the Canadas, but I have lived in many other places. My dream is to eventually flight attend. I like to party. I also love cheesecake.

So, here's my question.

Before I started on MFC, I did not do much research. I started an account, went on cam and made... nothing. I also chose the name Amber... I did not realise just how popular a name that was, lol. If I had've known, I would've chosen something different.

Anyway, my camscore went way down and now sits around the 700ish area. Sure, it's not as bad as 300, but still not ideal.

Since starting, I have done a fuckton of reading, thanks to this forum and places like it. I now feel I know a lot more and am better prepared to become much more successful.

Do you think I should drop my old account and start from scratch- new name, new camscore, new hair, new act?( I don't really have any spending regulars to lose- there is one guy who talks to me whenever I'm online- he demands so much attention but he NEVER tips, ever. He's nice so i keep talking to him, but I am starting to get frustrated as he jacks off to me without even a single token of thanks... other than him I don't really have anyone else notable )

Or should I stick to my own account and just keep trying to get back up there, using my newly learnt knowledge to succeed as best I can? I still would like to change my name... and I'm thinking of going brunette (normally red).

Anyway, what do you lovely ladies and gentleman think? Any advice?

PS I messaged Amber through MFC regarding access to the models only section a few days ago- does it normally take a while to be added?

Hey, welcome to the forums.

It's getting really hard, if not impossible to get new accounts on MFC. I just spent the better part of 3 months dragging my score up from the 700's. It isn't impossible, and I really didn't put that much effort into it. It just takes some time.

I'd say go ahead and change your name and hair if you want. You might attract a different crowd.

Like Annie said, it seems that there are a lot of girls trying to get a new account after deleting the old one and having to open back up their old accounts if they want to cam at MFC, you can change your name there, just will be on the same account and anyone that has you on their friend list will be able to find you.

I'll throw in my two cents even though I'm just a member.
You could just scam members to get your cam score up. That seems to be popular lately. :lol:
But really, it can't hurt to try and get your score up. With all the trouble models have had getting new accounts it might not be worth the effort.

Your profile pictures are hot, but a bit low quality. Do you have a good webcam? If not, get one. If so, and if you're not a bore and/or annoying, I wouldn't think you'd have trouble getting your camscore up with some hard work.

If you had big tippers, I would say prioritize on the big tippers. But since you don't seem to have too many yet, I would just be thankful that this one guy keeps you from having a dead chat. There seems to be nothing that models dread more than a dead chat. Also, don't hold it against him that he's never tipped you. You do realize you're working at My FREE Cams, right?

Ok like others have said I have heard creating a new account has become MUCH more difficult then it once was. In my personal opinion I would do exactly what you have already thought of doing. Change your name and maybe your appearance although I thought You already seen attractive as is. I think it will possibly change the cliental which may help. I would also just bust my butt to get my cam score up. I think it's really the best option. Good Luck! Just give it some time

No way to prove this but just guessing, I'd say catering to a begging, wanking, non-tipping jabberwonk is a good way to encourage people who MIGHT tip to NOT tip. If I go into a room and the model is talking more to the Basics and non-tipping prems than the actual tippers, what is the incentive for me to tip? Well, you might be, if you're awesome. lol

Have you ANY idea how hard it is to get guys to TALK these days? I spent 15 minutes asking "Is my camera working?" without any responses from the 40+ people watching me and I didn't even have guests or basics muted! Luckily, a regular came in and saved my ass, but I've had to log out when I got no answers after half an hour, even typing it just to be sure it wasn't that my camera wasn't working!

Poor score and 11 months ago... (worst Ghettysburg Address reference ever) :roll:
Long story short... crashed my score down to 500ish... (all my fault--- with a bit of naivete and a lack of information thrown in for my ego's sake)
Found this forum...
Decided to grind it out the hard way without creating a new account...
SET A SCHEDULE and lived by it!
Busted my ass and worked my way up to 4500ish...
A bit of a slump this summer, nearing the 4000 mark a few times...
But stuck it out.
There are numerous threads where you can track my rise from failure to mediocrity... Get your Model Status from Amber and search bb! :lol:

Boundless opportunities to learn are contained in the volumes of this forum... we're all lucky to have Amber (and Jawbs :geek: ) as well as some pretty fantastic models and members here to hold all of our hands and provide each other with the support we can't find elsewhere.

I know that MFC is full of non-tipping/talking assholes, but part of your job as a model is to pull teeth from the beaks of chickens. The first time I go to a models room I like to watch her interact with other members so I have some idea if I want to spend any time with her. If nobody is talking not even the model I do not stay very often unless I like her topic. Since you said you were trying to get someone to talk to you I may have stayed just to help get chat started up.

If no one's talking, except for the occasional Basic (and sometimes Prem) blurting "open bewbs bb" or kindred, then I'll talk to the model...maybe give a moderate tip even. Last week, I did exactly that and ended up getting an entire, on the spot, room show...and others started tipping too. Made a new "friend" too.

It may be the model's job to be entertaining, but it helps for the members to enhance it.

Stay with the account you have and try and rebuild it with all the new found knowledge you have from here. A model I have been visiting for the last 6 months or so has done this and looks likes she is winning, 600-2500 in the last 2 months. So it can happen and 700 is not so bad.

I only went premium because I talked to models as a basic. Think of how different things would be without my amazingness all over the forums.

Well, I will definitely leave basics and sometimes guests unmuted. I used to mute guests, but forgot one time and a guest started complimenting me. He then said he liked me so much he was going to sign up just to buy me tokens! I didn't believe it, but he actually did! He tipped me around 200 tkns, nothing too extravagant, but I was so pleased and flattered that he would actually do that- it really shows you never know who is a potential customer! He was also the first tip of the day, I was beginning to lose hope! The next time I am online, he says he is taking me to private!!

Well, tomorrow I start my new scheduled life- I will work my butt off and use the advice you have all given. I'm gonna do a kind of 9-5 schedule, with breaks. I thought I could go on cam in the morning, and just do my morning routine on cam. So I'll do a little exercise, I'll cook breakfast, and then I'll do a shower show or bath- maybe as a group, or after hitting a target or something?

Do you think that would be interesting to watch? I would still interact with everyone as I was doing whatever I am doing.
I'll ask for tips to do anything naked. Otherwise will just dress sexy.

i revirginized myself yesterday and it was easy as pie. i now have a new account need to close up the old one. i guess i should change my name on here too? either way im buxombrianna nao which i almost like better neways. so in relatatedness to the thread, you pretty miss might want to quietly try for a new account while leaving your old one intact just in case mfc decides to be a dick. either way you are le goregeousness and im sure the more time you spend on mfc the more adoring regulars you will pick up along the way who want you to succeed and your camscore will soar.

Aw thankyou! I may indeed try for a new account, with the old one open. I'm struggling at the 750 mark right now, just can't seem to get higher. I have made some great regulars though... who all promise as soon as they get paid, to tip! Haha... we'll see!
