Hello, @Stella_SC ...

On Stripchat, are Models allowed to wear clothing items that have other people's faces on them? Like politicians, historical figures, celebrities ... etc etc

Awaiting your reply...

Thanks

Hello @Epitome_XxX

Thank you for asking! Wearing clothing with people on it actually counts as showing unregistered people and can result in a warning or suspension (same with people on TV, magazine covers, pictures on walls, etc).

What about cartoons, art, drawings, comics, artistic renderings of known / unknown people? Thanks

Wow. So that ‘Rocky and Adrian Balboa holding hands’ poster that’s been up on my wall for years (which I’ve displayed on camera on other cam sites) would have been an issue on Stripchat? 😦 Oh, my…

I feel like as live cam sites become more popular and their support has to depend on AI detection for monitoring, this sort of thing is going to get more prevalent.

Welcome to the future!

We wish that the stigma would lessen from adult modeling/SW but in order for that to happen it becomes more casual/normalized/mainstream, and with that comes the need for sites to regulate it with non-humans.

  • Sorry to hear that.

You can also let AI create reports for an human to evaluate. Sites like stripchat exists because the models are working on these sites. A lot, or maybe most, of these models are now depending on the income of these sites for their livelihoods. I think banning that imposing bans by a bot, is shortsighted. Models need as much protection as possible.

Yes, correct. As you know, consent is so huge in this industry, and they are not consenting to being on your live-stream. On Stripchat, as I imagine is the case on most adult platforms if not all, you can only show registered people who have passed ID verification on your stream.

Here's another question within a similar avenue.. are we allowed to wear peoples names on clothes,(famous people), brands, company names... I've seen people do it, but, it seems alot of what i've seen people do is not allowed... lol ... so, asking to make sure thanks...

Models don't work on sites with no traffic, cam sites without traffic fail hard. You imagine a huge support team that can respond quickly to AI reports and take appropriate action fast but that's usually not the case as the priority is placed on advertising and it's a cut throat competition to secure quality tier1 adult traffic.

Brand names and company names are ok, as long as you aren't advertising other competition platforms (such as porn sites, subscription-based sites, other cam sites, etc).
Animal pictures are fine as long as they do not depict bestiality.

Would be best to review our rules, which Jessica just posted above. When in doubt, check with our Support team or just don't wear that particular shirt.

Are we allowed to post gifs / photos of ourselves on our stream... via OBS, etc ... on our video feed / while live
