So I'm a former camboy, I did it for the better part of the year, and had some great results. The business is fun, it pays well if you work hard! Though my recent situation isn't fitting with my cam life. So I wanted to know what any of you thought about recruiting.

What sites are easiest for models to use? What sites pay most? I want my models to have a good experience. How would you advertise?

I just wanna make sure that I follow.

Live camming doesn't fit with your current lifestyle so you want tips on how to recruit camgirls to work for you so you can take a percentage of their earnings?

Yea that about nails it on the head. If you wanted more details, my current partner is a bit iffy about me camming. The site I used to work for (Flirt4free) offers an affiliate program much like other websites I'm sure. I also want to make it clear I'm not using this forum to recruit, only looking for advice here.

My advice: don't be a douche. Unless you plan on renting out a building and offering glamorously furnished "rooms" with amazing wifi and brand new computers to these girls you're recruiting you're just using them and are a douche.

If you're simply wanting to run an affiliate site where the main site gives you a kickback but doesn't cut into the girls earnings, then start a twitter.

Nothing I do cuts into the girls/guys earnings, I get the %10, but its not out of their pockets. To be honest I would love to start up a studio if I had the funds for such a venture. I know how it is starting out as a cam model. My first month I barely pulled in $100 after hours upon hours of work. Thanks for the advice.

have a twitter page already, seems to be working well!

Making money off of an affiliate link is way different than starting a studio that you need to recruit talent for.

I'd suggest finding someone to partner up with who has internet/tech skills and can help you set up an affiliate site to direct traffic for you. It has nothing to do with recruiting models.

Unless you're suggesting a referral program and you just got your terminology wrong. That would involve persuading models to sign up and work on the site via your referral link, but you still wouldn't be taking a cut of their pay.

I think you probably should do more research outside of asking us for advice, because you may not really know what you're aiming for in general.

Yea I'm just referring. Nothing big haha. My terminology was off....

Well I'm pretty good at advertising. One of my talents....couldn't be guitar.....

I have a few sign ups already, but I was just trying to get a cam girls view on it. I guess a better question would be, what attracted you to the camming biz?

Your goal shouldn't be attracting girls TO the camming biz, it should be focused on attracting girls already in or considering the camming biz to YOUR site. Or at least focus on women who are already involved in something in the adult entertainment world.

And to answer the question that would follow, you need to provide very clear and precise information about how the site works, the money that can be made, the requirements and rules, why the site you're advertising for is better than the other options... without misleading anyone.

The problem you'll likely run into is that the bigger and better (in my opinion) sites are already doing a much better job of advertising to the market you're looking at. Myfreecams, Streamate, Chaturbate... those are probably better options for girls than flirt4free, so... I wish you luck!

I wonder how they attract girls/advertise in places where there are studios etc? There's probly some very dodgy stuff done, but also probably semi-dodgy things like putting ads in newspapers for "sales" work, commission only etc, then when they turn up for the interview get stuck in front of a camera. Pretty sure I've seen a couple girls like this actually, wearing a pantsuit and looking shocked, confused and absolutely NOT taking off their blouse :p

I think if you're going to be recruiting, you should know this information. I'd expect anyone who was trying to recruit me to be able to answer any of those questions for me. Things like "what sites pay the most" are easy to look up, for example.

Personally when I want to sign up for a new site I try to talk to an experienced model who knows the ins-and-outs of the specific site. If you want to recruit, I think you should be aiming to learn your site very well so you can provide that info. Payout percentage is a very basic, easily accessible piece of info that you shouldn't have to ask other models for (unless you'd like to give us 10% :p ). Really though I'd be more comfortable talking to a model or an official recruiter (like StreamateRecruiting who is not only very knowledgable but offers services like expedited approval & ongoing support) than someone who just decided they wanted to recruit people to sites they aren't familiar with.

Gen and I share the same brain except she is faster than me, and I am meaner than her.
You're essentially trying to do a job that is unnecessary and that you are unqualified for. If you can't cam right now, just go find a new moneymaker. I swear something about Spring makes everybody want a piece of the sex industry without actually doing anything.

It does seem that way. There was a guy on FetLife last week claiming his studio pays out a higher percentage than the actual site, but got cranky when asked HOW that worked or even made him money.

Agree with GenXoxo!
Imao if you really want to help new girls become a best top models and you ll only have % from site they sign in from your advised link, you better know how to do everything on cam on that particular site. And be honest to help girls, not cheat on them.

I had a 4 month experience with a studio, which linked me to registration on MFC and cut 35% of my personal earnings each month, but did practically not much to help me improve my cam-score, or earn more, or promote myself on-line.
The only thing that Admin guy did is chat with me once in a while, and asked for a few shows as well. :woops:
And when this studio suddenly did not pay my bill in January, he was no where to be found! I finally manage to get to talk with him after 3 weeks, when he told me that models of that Studio did not collect enough money to get Studio pay-limit this month, and they will pay me in Feb. So I doubt this to be truth, but worked a bit again, and still again did not get anything from February payment. Then he told me that Studio closed the business, and he don't work with them anymore. :liar: :liar: :liar: 11.000tkn I never got from them! :angry4: And also had a major financial problems till April, because I was not working anywhere els, but MFC!
The only help I got from that Admin guy, is that he canceled my Studio Registration on MFC in the end of March, and I finally was able to open a Model Account on my name.

So Studios are sucks!

On the other hand, if you only wanna earn from affiliate programs and also will be able to help girls with every and each problem they have - I see no harm! Go ahead!
For example CB have "Program: Revshare - 20% of Money Spent + $50 per broadcaster + 5% Referred Affiliate Income" where you can earn from each - models and members. It looks worthy, if you put a lots of time and hard work to that!
