Rebooting Movies

There is a bunch of movies lately that are being rebooted or remade and we're (or at least I) scratching our heads over it, movies that don't need to be rebooted. Red Dawn, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Spider-Man (except for Spidey 3, which was horrible) Akira, Robocop to name a few.
Today, flipping the channels I came across the movie Johnny Mnemonic, and I got to thinking, now here is a movie that should be remade... because I really wanted to like the movie but with Keanu Reeves and everything else, it just a pile of crap.
so, my question is, What movie's did you really want to like but, couldn't because they were so poorly done that, now, you want to see it remade, rebooted or updated?

RoboCop 3 kind of killed the franchise, and made rebooting necessary. Pity the new RoboCop costume looks like a normal man in body armor. As to what movie I really want to be rebooted, I want the new RoboCop rebooted.

First thing you have to do is stop comparing the remake/reboot to the first movies. They are different movies based on the same subject.

I'd like to see Bladerunner remade. BUT other than new actors leave the dialog and stuff alone just update the FX. For its time it looks incredible but with modern special FX it would look amazing.

Total Recall remake wasn't bad or it could have been Kate Beckinsale in skin tight pants...mmm mmm good lol.

I could have done with out the Conan remake tho. Cause it was horrible.

the first trailer I saw for Red Dawn I was like *yawn* cause it looked like a bunch of military people doing the fighting but seeing a longer trailer I realized it was just Thor that was military and the rest are high school kids. So I will keep an open mind about it.

Ah Star Wars 1, 2, 3...I hate to break it to ya but if you watch 4....its filled with just as much stupidness as 1 2 3. Why you ask? Cause Lucas wrote and directed all of them. Empire and Jedi were written and directed by different people....which is why they are SOO much better. But the only thing Lucas did with 1,2, 3 that REALLY pisses me off, was take the most bad ass bad guy in the universe and turned him into a sniveling, whining, crying ball of shit. So I put those 3 movies out of my head when I hear Vader say "I find your lack of faith disturbing" as he is force choking someone. Makes me smile just hearing it in my own head lol
