I don't know of any site that lets us selectively mute/unmute. I do know that sometimes Streamate will glitch out and one person can't hear me while everyone else can. When the person who can't refreshes their browser, that usually fixes it.
Yes they can mute their sound entirely. Bongacams, Flirt4free, Stripchat, MFC are all sites I can verify this for. It is not a selective feature as far as I know. And if it's not a site specific feature, it is easily done through the hardware settings on a computer.
