On Myfreecams, there is this page where you type in your payment info. They ask for the address of your bank and the address that is connected to your bank account. Even though I already have personal info registered into the website, I'm afraid that if someone hacks into my account, they'll see the addresses of these places. I don't want some hacker to see the address that are linked to my bank account, or the location of the bank account. The bank that I use is a part of a chain, and the routing number is the same for all locations. The location that I use isn't the main location, but it has the same routing number as the main location. So, could I provide the address of the main bank location,as opposed to the location that I actually use, when I fill out the payment info?
Also, I don't really want to put down the address that is linked to my bank account. Would it be okay if I put down the address of a PO Box that I frequently use? Or do they really, really, really mean the address linked to the bank account, and nothing else?

You need to put in exactly the information that's on file with your payment method, since they'll check it with the bank / credit provider, etc. This information is provided to the payment processor you choose, not directly to myfreecams. There are several payment options that offer more privacy than electronic check - you can use a throwaway pre-paid credit card from a convenience store for example.

(I'm assuming you're talking about paying to purchase tokens. If you're talking about getting paid as a model that's entirely different, but they already have your name and address in that case from your age verification, tax stuff, etc.)

There's the option of being paid via check! It will take a lot longer, but all you need to share is a mailing address. I haven't attempted it myself, but you should be able to enter a PO box for the address for that.

You can also choose to be paid via Payoneer debit card, in which case they'd be the ones handling your personal information. If someone gets into your MFC account all they'll see for "payment method" is that you use Payoneer. From Payoneer you can just transfer the money to your local bank account via cash advance.

edit: oh lawd don't mind me I thought this was a question from a model. :(

In that case, buying tokens is about as safe as making any other online purchase. MFC uses secure connections for token purchases, and they're very paranoid about fraud. You can also use PayPal via Epoch billing, and prepaid cards as ramblin said.

You were right, I do believe this person is becoming a cam girl. The person above you may have been more confused.

noob101 suggest you remove the autofill option, other than that information is for the processing site not MFC. I would be far more concerned with the security over other online purchases.
The details asked for are attached to the bank account as confirmation that you are the one spending. Your bank may also send you a security message the first time to confirm that you want to spend on that site as protection for you from your bank.

Keep in mind if you spend on credit they can be/ are insured (i.e. Visa, mastercard etc.), you should also fill in your details with these services so you are fully protected.

One tip is to use a fully online internet savings account attached to your main account, that you can transfer larger sums held there into storage. They earn a little interest, you develop good habits in terms of watching your accounts, and it creates that extra dimension of security.

Again... I believe this person is asking about being a model, not about spending tokens.

I'll add to this though and say that if a girl is that paranoid about having her address on a cam site modeling account, being a cam girl may not be the ideal job for her, so... yeah.

I completely understand what you mean, Amber (we need thick skins, etc), but I totally felt this way when I signed up. Back then, camming was nowhere NEAR as popular as it is now, so most people had never heard of it (especially in Middle of Nowhere, Kentucky). So I was pretty paranoid about the whole thing too. In fact, I thought it was all some sort of internet scam. I waited to tell most friends about it until I had actually gotten paid (money IN the bank account) because I didn't want them to laugh at me for falling for "free money." I mean, most people thought it was either some kind of pyramid scheme or Nigerian prince-type of deal.

Yes, OP, it's safe for you to put your bank info on there. And there was recently a discussion in Models Only as to whether you had to use your local branch or a main one. I used local, other girls used main. We all get paid. So if you're American, I don't think it matters at all! :thumbleft:
