Hey I'm Casey. First off I would like to say I am super happy I found this forum! Thank you Amber Cutie! I have been doing porno for awhile now but things are changing in the biz and I no longer feel safe working with all the stds going around. So I'm new to whole webcam thing, and I have been working super hard on designing a profile on myfreecams and its time for my final step, which is picking out a webcam. I'm curious if anyone uses the Logitech Conference Cam BCC950 ? I want to buy a good camera but it still seems like it pretty new on the market, and most the other sites I have been on suggest other cameras. But I really like the idea of the remote control and not having to have the webcam mounted on top of my computer. If anyone has any information about this camera it would be greatly thankful for your insight. Thank you.

I notice that some models use c920 from logitech(my favorite one so far because of the light features) or Microsoft Lifecam HD (not sure if it has a number, has a good input microphone comparing to logitech).

Never seen this one, seems pretty fancy and cool having the remote controller. Will look forward to that :D

Your webcam choice depends on which site you are aiming. Like for MFC the resolution for HD is 480p, and streamate, if im not mistaken, for HD video it must be 720p and widescreen.

Some programs can help enhancing your webcam quality, the most popular for windows is ManyCam.

Another very popular choice is the Logitech 9000. It's what I use and I love it! It's a great webcam.

I also have a Logitech C920 but am still trying to work out the kinks as I can't seem to get it to look right on MFC! The 9000 still wins for me!

Help with new webcam set up? New Logitech webcam not working with AOL/Yahoo IMs. The Logitech window shows that the camera is working (can see the image it captures). But it seems like the IM clients (both Yahoo and AOL) do not recognize the webcam. I tried turning off my firewall in XP. That didn't solve it. Do I have configure the IM client in some way so that it recognizes the webcam?

I sometimes have to select my Logitech from the video settings in Skype otherwise it defaults to my built-in cam, I'd guess you probably have to tell AOL/Yahoo that you want to use a certain cam before it will work.

I would really love to hear more about the c930e

I just bought a new cam, so i wont be in the market for 6 to 8months....but I have only heard one other person talk about the c930e. Considering the price jump (almost double that of the c920) and the less the stellar viewers I have found online. I would love to hear an actual cam girl talk about the cam.

As we don't always use it in the same manor. If you don't mind me asking---why do you like it more then the 920? Are the new features worth the extra money? Quality better/same?
