Private Studio Sites?

Hi models and patrons, new here. Tried to skim all >200 forums first before asking this question, but couldn't find if it has been asked before.

I live in Colombia, the epicenter of studio camming (>5000 studios).

Does anyone know if the studios here have their own private sites? I.E., "secret" sites that don't feed their models' cams into Streamate or their 100s (1000s?) of affiliates?

Maybe it's an urban legend. But if it's true, I can't understand how a model could be discovered by new clients.

If a studio started its own private cam site it wouldn't be to be discovered by new clients it would be to poach existing clients from other cam sites to receive 100% of the pie.

Ive seen multiple studios ask about starting their own private site but I don't know if any of them actually did it.

I think your poaching theory is a probable explanation. Because a studio here in Medellin is paying the models 50%, and I can't see how they can afford to do that if the studio is feeding to Streamate or most other sites.

Off topic, kind of, but there is a syndicate here in Medellin that is constructing what is believed to be the largest webcam studio in the world. Their plan is to record all Private, Exclusive, and Cam2Cam chats and distribute them globally. Sort of like CamWhores, but with no privacy lockdowns like there are with CamWhore members ("friends"). And of course with no consent from the model or the user.

Although maybe studios are doing this already and it's not a new idea? I have no idea.

Agreed, but I know several camgirls here in Medellin, and they have mentioned these "private" and "secret" sites. And their thumbnails never appear on the high-traffic sites.

It's not 50% of what the customer is spending it's 50% of what you would have gotten it you were independent.

No it wouldnt cost much to maintain the site if it's feeding thousands of viewers.

Wasn't newchloe selling some service like that? Where models could have their own stream site I'm not talking about noodtv but rather the other service she was selling for a monthly price.

Well, costs in Medellin are very low. There are so many studios here have been operating for years. They really exploded during Covid. Some of them are renovated hotels with 100 studios.

Agreed I can't see how they do it successfully without adverting.
