Plus I don't charge for friends add so I don't HAVE to add anyone, just people I like. :D

Personally I have never paid to be added as a friend and really don't get that entire phenomenon anyway. All it really guarantees is a one time tip. Maybe it works out, maybe you just end up with an annoying bloob who had the resources to tip at least once.

I don't live the model side of things, so I don't know. Just an observation is all.

I'm guessing it just serves to filter out the no-token timewasters from those who are interested enough to at least put down a small "deposit". That right there would cut your number of people bugging you by 90%. Surely probably another 60% of those who do make it through are never going to spend serious cash and may end up being deleted after a while...but you narrowed it down a lot and didn't waste time talking to guys with absolutely NO money who want to discuss a private they're never going to do.

Those are all reasons why I don't accept payment for friends add. I don't want someone to think that just because they tipped me 50 tokens that I'm gonna dirty talk them in pm all night long. If someone asks me nicely to be added with a reason like "I have a few questions about a private" then I will just add them. If they suck and I hate them then I can remove them without having a thread written about me being a scammer... :-D Sorry, I couldn't help it.

I add anyone who has ever given me a 100+ tip, been to pvt w/ me, or spent 100+ on group. It's worked for me so far. I've only been annoyed with one guy, and I'll probably just nicely let him know that I can't focus on his PMing every second when my rooms busy.

I basically have a charge to be on my friends list to weed out obnoxious people who whine to be added. I don't expect most members to pay that - I'll add anyone who spends 100+ tokens on me and/or adds quality conversation to my room. I think I've only had a couple people tip solely to be on my friends list, and neither of them ended up being people who PM'd me often. I may change the way I do things in the future if I have problems with someone who paid to get on my list, but it has worked out so far.

This. The guys who pay just to get on my friends list don't even PM me. It's kind of weird like that.

If a guy doesn't want to send tokens in exchange for PM privileges then he can send a free MFC email. Pretty simple.

Exactly.

They have different options for how to communicate with you.
A) public chat
B) private messages
C) MFC Mail
D) MFC profile wall comments section
E) tip notes
F) Twitter

Exactly! If he really does want to talk about a PVT, then I have no problem checking my mail while on cam. But most guys claim they want to talk to you about a PVT and chat about everything but.
