Pornhub Model Payment program

I am shocked nobody made a thread about Pornhub's efforts to help cam models decide to have their content posted there.
Thoughts? Anybody tried it with success?
Taking it from the thread on stripperweb it apparently isn't very profitable in itself - the only way to make any money is for pornhub to feature it and it makes pennies - but is it good as a marketing tool? It seems obvious it would be 'yes' considering the traffic but the audience is quite used to not having to pay for porn.
And how are the cams?

I use the Pornhub model program, I just started it about 3 weeks ago. I have heard both sides from models, some of them have no success and some of them make killer money. It's all about pushing views. From what I've seen and heard (someone may have more info on this than me) it seems to average out to around $100 per 100,000 views, so I definitely think it could be decent side income over trying to hustle it for your main source.

I will say that their model support is phenomenal. I messaged them and asked if I could have the videos that were posted of me (my pirated content) transferred over to me so I get paid for the ad revenue and they switched them over no problem AND back paid me on the ad revenue. They seem to reply within 48 hours every time I've needed to talk to them and have been nothing but extremely helpful and nice.

They also do monthly/yearly model contests with cash prizes- I think the top prize each month is $1000. They also run contests for videos, the most recent one was a JOI vid and the winner got a sweet video recording equipment package.

I have gotten a few custom video orders through people finding me there since I started promoting it and it seems to be a decent way to market to the people who aren't necessarily going to spend $10-$20 on a video, at least you can make something off of them and direct them to your other social media platforms, where you could potentially turn them into a conversion down the road.

I use it more as a reward system "get me to this many views on this video and I'll upload another free one for you" or "once I hit this goal I'll upload a new vid on Pornhub for you guys!"

If you don't mind being in the public eye, have a lot of content lying around, or vids that don't sell well on other platforms etc. I think it's worth it.

I think I'm going to post more fetish content and see what happens, I deff see an increase on hits from pornhub to my C4S from google analytics (which is awesome Imo) especially since I don't have that many videos up. I watermark the whole thing with my c4s and there support really is amazing.

I've had an account on there for a while, and I finally uploaded some clips over the past week. I haven't made much (yet!), but I know of at least one tipper who found me through Pornhub already. I'm just using it to post show recordings and video trailers.

Be aware once you do sign up and are paid for the content you post it will remain on pornhub even if you delete your account.
Agree with customer support, Mia and the admins are great to work with.
One bonus side to having account there is if anyone uploads content of you they will remove it just with a polite email to them

If the pirated content uploaded has a lot of views, you can also email them and they will transfer over the ad revenue to your account so you get paid for it, obviously they won't delete it if you go this route- but another option.

Other notable things that have pulled in money from Pornhub: skype shows, calls to my Niteflirt lines, ~10 VIP snapchat sign ups at $50 a pop, custom videos, random wishlist gifts, and two random gift cards from people who felt guilty jerking off to me for free.

Quite a large number of submissives have found me through Pornhub and joined my femdom sites because of that too, so there's no telling how much income that pulled in. Lol. I also use redtube, youporn, xvideos, and xhamster.

@BiancaBaker YES. XVids get me so much more traffic than PornHub. One of my shorter videos has 187k views and it's just a tease clip, so it has a ton of promise. Like I said, just qualified for the content partnership but the traffic pull is worth sacrificing a few clips. Videos for the content partnership have to be at least ten minutes, but if you choose an older clip or one that no longer sells I think is is justified.

My XVids profile has ~200k hits to videos/45,000 to my profile whereas pornhub is sitting at around 7k total. These aren't huge numbers for tube sites, but I only do non nude bitchy femdom so I am very niche. I have been on both on my femdom account since Jan of last year and only have two clips up, plus the one I put up last night.

I post about 10-20 seconds of material per video. Sometimes one continuous bit, sometimes a compilation of different bits.

for it to be in the program where you get paid I believe it has to be longer than 10 mins? I have 2 up.. lets see how they do? I want to put a more fetish one up and a femdom clip. I'm obviously putting up older clips. ATM my first taboo video has over 1k hits and the second one just went up today. I would love to do something unique to stand out so Im trying to figure it out.

Seems like it would be easy to take a few recorded group shows, smash them together to make a few 10 minute videos. And possibly make some money off the old recordings. :3

Thanks vera! I knew the XVideo's was 10 mins so I assumed the same with pornhub. Seriously thanks for all your help with this. Im sitting @ $100 on my X video's and $36 on Pornhub! I think Im going to start uploading niche stuff (old 10 mins and over deal) for x-videos and for Porn hub I'll keep them 3-4 mins. I may even make "special" content for pornhub or x video's if I get big enough.

Is this something a member might mention to a model they think are cool? Not trying to be a white knight, but if they are out of the country and might not visit Pornhub?

It'd be great if they all wanted to come here and become verified and then post in the model's only forum, but, some of the models I know seem to feel not worthy or something (just odd when I suggest they come here)--I sometimes think it is a language thing, but it could be just them being them with language difficulties and stuff.

Anyway, is it a hard process for models outside of the US? Just wondering.

Targeting high volume keywords and low competition keywords is the best way to go with YouPorn.com. YouPorn.com shows up on the first page of Google frequently. Once, you hit the first page and stay there you can generate a lot of traffic. But, I don’t know the answer to this question because I haven’t ever uploaded anything to their site. Can you watermark your videos, though? If you can it would certainly be worth it to watermark your videos to IvyFans. Could help generate traffic and make you more money. Then, extra money you earn would just be a bonus
