So I am currently planning a 5 part video series - for Cam Models. It would be mostly gear towards newbies and then I plan on creating a bonus series for cam models in career transition or the bonus series will be a separate series.

I haven't figured that part out yet but all of it ties into planning my retirement from camming and going into a new online career as a attraction marketing and networking marketing professional.

Wondering what are somethings you would like to see covered in it.

Basically I've been a cam model 13 years coming up March 2016 and I've set a retirement date for myself and I want to leave the industry giving something back to the community.

I think it would be awesome to cover the part where a lot of members want to take advantage of her. And how to spot a talented scammer. I feel those can be very helpful for new models not embarassing themselves or getting discouraged.

I would start with a big giant font saying NOTHING YOU PUT ON THE INTERNET STAYS PRIVATE. If you're going to talk about leaving the industry, the first thing I think they need to know is that they will be recorded and shared. Not like "it might happen" but it 100% will happen.

Also I'd cover common tricks that douchebags try to pull (like "I'll tip you after, I just need a preview" or Amazon scams, etc). And emphasize common sense - if something seems to good to be true, trust your instinct. Maybe either cover basic safety tips (don't use photos on your personal social media and your cam social media, in fact probably just eliminate personal social media or lock it down tight if you can't, clearing exif data, VPNs, etc) or direct them to resources to find info about that.

13 years. Wow. Bet you've seen it all.

What was your high point, and what was your low point?

Thanks everyone.

Yup 13 years coming up. It's time to make a complete exit. The training course I've been taking it's about how to make your own digital product suggests that I would basically search the top ten phrases related to my topic and cover it in the product, since it's more of attracting the right niche audience for this product and not so much about trying to sell it to cam models who are already camming.

Then once the product is developed I can have built-in an affiliate program and then also hoping some interviews or case studies as part of the bonus report. Right now I am just working on the outline.

Frankly since I've made a post about it I can completely see what the training is talking about and more reasons why I need to stick with the training and develop my product with less outside opinions. I thought sharing it I would get positive feedback but that's not happening. Plus the feedback on this has been really mixed I get many other cam models who honestly haters .... Which then had me doubting why I am even considering making this project but then once I went back into the training realizing that it's not about them.

One person that posted I have on ignore then curiosity got me and I looked at her post then started yelling at my monitors then quickly reminded why I have this person on my ignore list. ** Ignore list is for your sanity and safety

My highs and lows of camming will definitely be in there ... but for people here who want to know. I might make a separate thread on that one.

I don't see anything negative here, though...? Not sure if you're referencing your posts/interaction on other sites/forums.

i would be totally into this. i recently went thru applying and being approved for myfreecams. I am still setting up all the details on my profile/menu etc, my room/space at home and getting as acquainted as possible before going live. I'm a fan/premium member as is my husband. He actually jokingly suggested I start doing this and have always wanted to do something in the 'adult' sex-work world;it's a win-win, but hadn't planned it. So, anything formal or presented especially for newbies would be highly appreciated;especially from someone with so much experience and time in the game, so to speak.

It's from other places, here is wonderful. I just took it all in as one giant emotional ball.

My experience is only from streamate and cams.com . I tried MFC and I couldn't get the hang of it and for me it could be a number of reasons why I am not making money on MFC. I did consider giving it one last try on there to see if I could make money just so that way I have the experience of being in a token and a private show site. Slightly kicking myself I didn't join MFC when they opened up and where giving models a webcam to join their site.

when you do have the series, anything from your experience will be valuable. I love the format of MFC and have gotten used to it as a premium member. I am somewhat hoping to make this more than a part time gig/hobby. I'd really like to take this as far as I can and possibly quit my day job! The other sites you have been on are different, but what they offer is great to know for expanding beyond MFC.

Right now I am just trying to do keyword research to figure out the popular things future cam models are searching for when it comes to starting out as a cam model, I am surprised how much I am finding and that isn't covered out there in the community.

I got a few messages from fetlife of people asking about it for their studios and me personally I stay away from studios from a nightmare experience I had starting out.

With camming con and now adult webcam awards I know there is still need to develop this product. who knows maybe this product will be a sponsor for these events.

Make sure to do research on groups like this (there is a lot of talk and speculation about their motives) before attaching your name to something.

That is why I said maybe I know its just their first year I am not going to it . I am planning my birthday this winter in Vegas. They need to stick around for at least 5 years before I consider attending let alone thinking about sponsoring my product with them.

I know of a reputable sex and kink lifestyle conference in my community happens every year I Am more likely to sign myself up as a speaker for that then some joe blow webcam conference.

i'm surprised as well, to a degree...but with the internet being somewhat of the 'wild wild west', I'm amazed at this forum existing and 'cam girls' coming together as a community.

personally, i always wanted to be in the adult entertainment industry, wasn't sure what or how or if i'd actually go thru with it. At this phase in life, married, probably not having kids, deep into a traditional day job. . .there are angles to address I need information or experience with that is less typical. . .married to a man who is a major fan, but in private, of cam sites, how that will affect our relationship and marriage etc;transitioning from a day job to this, even if just part time, how to keep this separate but equal with my day job responsibilities. . . how to keep the effect of public shaming from effecting my goals in the cam world. . .etc

i'll keep my eyes posted, looking forward to whatever you put together. thanks again!

Going Full-time is easy because your already doing it part-time
So here is a bonus for you CandeeLand - If you decide to go full time you will have to be very discipline with your routine. meaning you set the alarm, you get up shower, make breakfast, feed the pets. then get on cam. as if you were going out there in struggling through traffic and going to work. Routine and sticking to it no matter what is the key to keep yourself sane and having a regular webcam fan base and income. Your are more invested when you go full-time. If slow days drag you down then this is where my new phase in my life comes in you need to set up a supplement income that keeps your bank constantly having cash in it.

The home business industry is actually bigger then I thought when I looked into more. There are at home call centre job that will keep your resume updated or the option of starting your own small home business in pretty much anything your interested in . did some digging and people are actually making money creating youtube videos. So the options are pretty much feels like unlimited.

Since you are able to handle camming part-time then going full-time will just be a few adjustments and honestly an easy transition. The rule is if you can't fit in time for this or any home business part-time then you shouldn't consider it full time.

Relationships are hard but they can work if you can find time for them.
Right now I am single and wanting a relationship the longer I cam the harder it is for me to invest time into the dating world. For me I didn't want any of my partners involved in my camming when I was younger the older I got I realize that I could have used those guys as studs for content videos. Now I am not sure of a lot of things in my camming career I know it's not finished but I also know I really want to give my new online business a better shot. it's just a hard lesson I Am learning.

If you have a partner who is semi- supportive figure out how much support you can get them from them. Maybe they can take pictures of you for your profile or website. Maybe they can be in some of your videos. The Homemade porn niche is still profitable.
and with clip sites and smaller build your own website with like modelcentro you can still have a health career in it that way but it will just mean more work and more planning to be your persona so that means you need to create time for date night with your S/O.

There is still a huge number of people on the outside that jump with lights in their eyes when you mention to them you do porn and they want in . and with websites like sexyjobs and adultstaffing you can get people who think they are going to do something in porn but really they aren't cause we are still on the amateur level.
