So I'm not much of a cologne wearer. For cheap stuff I like the crap Tilly's sells. Infamous. It's like 20 bucks a bottle and women seem to enjoy it.
More expensive stuff.. Fierce from Abercrombie is pretty awesome. Always get a good response from it.

Women's perfume. I have one scent that stands out for me.

Miracle by Lancome

The first time I caught that scent on a woman I was INSTANTLY drawn to her. And I had to know what she was wearing. I'm not gonna lie, the scent alone stirred some mild activity below the equator. I am actually buying a bottle of it for this girl's birthday coming up. Great perfume is always a great gift, and I like the idea of her associating the scent with me. Unless ofcourse she hates it, that could backfire lol.

Anyway, what does everybody like?

i know that every fragrance alters slightly with an individuals body chemistry, but avon used to sell this stuff called wild country that smelled awesome on every guy i knew that tried it. they may still, but i havent looked for it in ages.

my personal holy trinity of colognes for myself are lagerfeld (the original kind) paul sebastian and yes, the cheesy fave drakkar. they all mix well with my personal scent and i like their smell in general, plus since most of the people in my family are chemically sensitive and those three dont set them into sneezing fits they tend to be almost the only ones i ever get as present or for myself.
i dig cool water a lot, and i wear it occasionally, but it makes me and most of my family sneeze a bit so its not in heavy rotation

on women some of my favorites are fairly inexpensive. emeraude and tabu are two of the ones the ladies in my family used a lot, so they still make me feel happy when i smell them, so they rank high on my list. i don't remember who makes the line of products, but the smell of the vanilla musk perfumes and soaps etc drives me crazy for some reason. and by crazy i mean like a bull in rut. hit me in my pheromone receptors hard.

I like to keep my favorite perfume a secret because it makes it funner to just shrug and smile when people ask what I'm wearing. ;) That said, I probably own over 20 bottles of perfume and like to rotate out scents depending on what activities I plan on doing that day/week.

For my partner, Gravity and Fierce are my two favorites.

Usually, I prefer dudes scent free. Maybe once in a while a splash of something earthy or leathery on a man is nice. The last time my husband picked out a cologne on his own, it magically disappeared from the shelf. Not sure what happened  .

I am one of those who wears perfume a little obnoxiously. I'm usually in a safety cloud of my own perfume. Fracas, Bvlgari Rose Essentielle, Miss Balmain, Organza, Sonia Rykiel for Women, Mahora and Baiser du Dragon are my favorites right now. I smell like a grandma.

As I said, I don't wear cologne often, HOWEVER I always wear deodorant and Old Spice has some amazing scents in their deodorants.

In particular I love Denali and the new Hawkridge (even though the Hawkridge commercial is stupid annoying), but I love getting out of the shower and putting some on. It always makes me smile in the morning.

I have three favorites that suit me: Issey Miyake - L'Eau d'Issey, Paco Rabanne - Ultraviolet & Lacoste Pour Femme Eau de Parfum.

For men, it really depends, different fragrances suit different men. But my favorites are Issey Miyake - L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme & Dior - Fahrenheit.

I don't wear cologne very often, but the one I have for the rare occasion is Lacoste Essential.

As far as perfume preference, I'm not too picky as long as it doesn't irritate my nose to the point of repeated sneezing.

When I used to sell AVON, I used to like wearing the fragrance Sweet Honesty. I also liked Baby Phat Goddess, which came in a pink bottle.

Men's cologne that I liked:

Unforgivable (a fragrance by Sean Combs a.k.a. Puff Daddy)
HisSTORY (AVON cologne for men)
Wild Country (AVON cologne for men)

I am glad to hear you always wear deodorant. I am sure this makes the people round very happy.

I am boring, I have been wearing the same perfume for years. Since I was 18 or 19. Marc Jacobs Daisy. I like to think it's my scent.

I love the way a couple of marc jacobs one's smell but I have a sensitivity to something in it and I don' t know what it is :crybaby: I've bought it, and received it as a gift and both times I used it and had to return it. Instant headaches... so I'm sorry, you smell very nice but you'll have to get away from me right now. Back up like 3 posts please.

For me I like Chanel Chance, the green bottle Eau Fraiche (there's a pink one but it's not the same) I've used the whole thing more than once which is a big deal for me and perfume.

And for guys I like Jean Paul Gotier, Le Male.

Only one proper reponce to this

And that is to forcefully grab your head and shove it in my breast smothing you with my scent.

whahahaahah You shall smell me---and you shall smell me hard.

sorry for the headache  muy bad yo

I wear Fumerie Turque by Serge Lutens.
I'm not really a fan of anything that will make me smell like a field of flowers or a fruit basket. I tend to gravitate towards darker smells.
ESPECIALLY for men. Anything that smells like wood, leather, tobacco, smoke, sawdust, gunpowder, whiskey, etc. The dirtier and more animalistic it is, the better.

That was the main cologne my dad wore over the last 10 years or so. I remember he used to be pretty excited when he could find a good deal on a bottle. He would wear cologne 6-7 days a week on average so it was a bigger deal for him than some I guess.

Nice thought people have there own and yes skin chemistry does play a part in a scent so I have experimented over the years. I have decided on trial and error some times very bad error I like fresh light fragrance I think on a man they are not out of play at any time of the day. I understand a lady may wish to wear some thing more musk like in the evening than say working during the day but I think that is a debate best left to the lady’s. For a Gentleman being fresh and light I think IMHO is appropriate day or night. I have a sort of thing against strong scent guys wear so my favourites tend to be light.

2 of my favourites that I am happy to say SO in life and even people I meet on a working basis comment on. I am not playing to the audience but it is appealing if a client or co worker finds it interesting enough to ask or comment about boys can be vain as well. So if you have not tried guys get down the store and get a sniff of

Hugo-Hugo Boss the green top one wonderful fresh and citrus
Aramis 900-well by Aramis Herbal and different from any thing else on the market

Ok I like men’s scent or perfume or aftershave or cologne or what ever you want to call it and wear to work most days and I would say guys don’t leave that 4 year old bottle someone bought you for Xmas on the shelf waiting for the hot date. It’s ok to smell nice just becouse your going out it don’t need to be a special occasion to put some on............my :twocents-02cents:

I really like woody or citrus smells. lemon, sandalwood etc.

My rotation:

Tokyo Milk - Dead Sexy
Tokyo Milk - Excess
Tokyo Milk- Chance
Tokyo Milk - Skinny Dip
Soap and Glory - Mist You Madly (its more floral than I like but Im there for the bergamot! Fuck I love me some bergamot.
Lush - 25:43
Lush - Orange blossom
Lush - the smell of freedome
Lush - karma
Lush - breath of god
SOMETIMES I wear Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy when Im feeling skanky. I also have a cupcake scent roller from a local craftswoman that I like just because its SO realistic and I want to smell cupcakes all day. ID rather have it in a diffuser, she makes LOTS of candles and perfumes that smell exactly like the thing they imitate!

Scents I absolutely can't get enough of:

For women:
Victoria's Secret -- Secret Crush
DKNY -- Be Delicious (Green Apple)
Ed Hardy -- Villain

For men:
Armani -- Acqua Di Gio
Adidas -- Moves

For Moi, I mainly use

Davidoff Adventure
Diesel Petrol
Prada Milano
Ted Baker Signature

My rotating list of scents:

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab:

Womb Furie
Mole
Snake Oil
O
Blood Amber

Aveda:
Love

I'm also very fond of the smell of amber, dragon's blood & anything mossy.

For myself; Clinique Happy In Bloom or DKNY Be Delicious

For a guy; A nice deodorant and maybe some aftershave, mixed with his natural man musk. Mmhmmmm! :love10:

I found a small silk covered box in a bag of donated cloths years ago. About the size of a packet of saltine crackers, the outer cover lifted off like the lid on a box of chocolates. The bottom part of the box held a small dark brown bottle with a squeeze dropper cap and a eye dropper type glass tube that went down into the bottle. The bottle was about 2 inches tall and not much bigger around than a AA battery. I believe the volume was 1.6 oz, but it may have been .6 oz. It was about half full and it was a wet warm delicious dream. I only used it for very special occasions and it lasted me about three years. Before the label had worn away, I once looked it up. It was Italian I think, and the name started with V I also think. It was listed at $120, and I would gladly pay that now if I only could remember the name. Maybe some one will have some ideas? If not I think I will search it out somehow with the info I do have, now I am remembering it. It was magical, almost literally in the power it had. sometimes when I would see the bottle I could not help but crack open the cap just enough to get a flash of it, and everything else went away in that OMG breath. Please help  hehe.

My absolute favorite perfume forever and ever is Chloé by Chloé. When I tried it at the store after it came out, it smelled like something from my childhood and I still can't put my finger on what it is. But I knew I had to have it. I've been using it for about 5 years.

Others:

Marc Jacobs - Oh Lola
Marc Jacobs - Dot
Gucci - Flora
Gucci - Guilty
Biotherm - Eau de Paradise
Tommy Hilfiger - Woman Peach Blossom
The Body Shop - Japanese Cherry Blossom
The Body Shop - White Musk Too
The Body Shop - Cassis Rose
The Body Shop - Love
Zara - Rosa Bulgara
Zara - Oh My Cherry
Hollister - Crescent Bay
Hollister - Laguna Beach (body spray)

The Body Shop now has body sprays / fragrances for most of their fruit flavors that they have in shower gels and body butters, and if they could finally make a Vineyard Peach fragrance (that smells like their Vineyard Peach shower gel and the body butter), that would be amazing.

I don't have a certain taste in perfumes.
What I liked really depends on the day. I love fruity smells (Marc Jacobs / Hilfiger / Hollister) but also flowery ones (most of the rest). I don't like old lady smells, I despise Chanel No. 5. And I'm not really into 'fresh/cool' scents either.. My mom loves Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana but to me it smells way too cold.

And for guys... Chanel Bleu and Porsche Titan. I gave them away as a birthday and a 'just because' present and they're so damn hot.

I like a man's natural scent. Say underarms with some deodorant after working all day. I'm a weirdo.

Women:
Bath & Body Works - Winter Wonderland.
Davidoff - Cool Water For Women.
Baby Phat - Goddess, almost forgot how much I loved that one.
The Body Shop - Moroccan Rose.
Victoria's Secret - Amber Romance
Victoria's Secret - Strawberries and Champagne.

Could be something by Valentino.

My favorite perfume to buy as a gift is Burberry's classic for woman.
I'm currently through a big bottle of One Million. And one of Elixir by Azzaro.
Both are quite good, but I don't like big bottles. I usually get bored of them before I finish them.
I used to like Terre by Hermes, especially in winter. Problem is, it became too common and I started smelling it on other people. It gets real weird for me when that happens.
